SOCIAL JUSTICE COMPONENTS = ALL OF THIS COMPONENTS MUST BE

PRESENT. ABSENCE OF JUST ONE COMPONENT MEANS OBLITERATION OR
ANNIHILATION OF SOCIAL JUSTICE HENCE COMMON GOOD IS NEVER
POSSIBLE

COMMUTATIVE JUSTICE = this is the justice that happens in the individual

level of exchanges such as just wage for services rendered or a fair price for
products and services

LEGAL JUSTICE = justice pertaining to the proper payment of taxes. Tax

evasion kills legal justice

DISTRIBUTIVE JUSTICE = crucial role of government in flowing back to the

society our tax contributions in the form of social services, health care, food
and security, housing, infrastructure, etc. Corruption in gov't kills distributive
justices

ECOLOGICAL JUSTICE = caring for the natural environmental and consider its
limitation of supporting our developmental undertakings. Destruction of the
environment kills ecological justice

 3 INTERDEPENDENT ACTIVITIES WHICH BUSINESSES SHOULD TAKE UP

GOOD GOODS

Address genuine human needs through creation, development and

production of goods and services

Businesses should produce goods and services that meets authentic

human needs such as affordable housing, education and other services
and products that genuinely contribute to human development and
fulfilliment

A good entrepreneur first thought of service second is the gain

Meets needs of the vulnerable members in society such as the poor, the
elderly and the handicapped such as micro-enterprise, micro-credit and
social enterprise

GOOD WORK

Organize good and productive work

Enterprise must organized work in order for the enterprise to be good

and effective, efficient and engaging

In organizing work, a certain autonomy must be given to the workers.

They must be given a certain level of autonomy in order for them to
contribute in the creativity process and contribute to the mission of the
organization

Work must also be organized in a way that it becomes a venue for

collaboration especially that work brings people together

Work must also foster to human dignity specially that work is essential to
a person's calling towards development and dignity of labor is very
important.

Work has multiple dimensions and the most obvious is the economic
dimension of work because it is through works that he is able to provide
to his and his family's needs

Use resources to create and to share wealth and prosperity in sustainable

ways

3 DIMENSIONS

GOOD STEWARDSHIP = creative and productive with regards to the

resources place in their care. They do not merely take into the
creation's abundance. They use their creativity to create more from
what have been given to them

SUSTAINABILITY = the enterprise must make profits to sustain the

business but not at the expense at the common good. It should not
create poverty at the expense of the members of the enterprise or the
society and it should not destroy the environment

JUSTLY DISTRIBUTED = creates fair exchange with suppliers and fair

prices to the customers which promotes the common goods and help
individuals excel
