In the modern society, people have many ways to get

information. Whenever I open the TV or read the newspaper, I
can always get to know international events. However, there is
a debate about whether we should know about these activities
even though they have nothing to do with our life. Some people
claim that it is useless for us to understand it, because we do
not normally touch them. In my opinion, I think this is a
misunderstanding. Understanding international affairs can make
people more patriotic and feel the importance of national
prosperity. In the following paragraphs, I will cogently present
some noticeable reasons to illustrate this perspective.(109)

First and foremost, TV and computer spreads all kinds of news

lead teenagers to chase after stars and from this aspect of the
family education is also rare, which means some parents tend
to pay much attention to the children's culture and severely
neglected to the education of letting their children understand s
international news, because many parents subjective think that
children should learn cultural knowledge, as long as the test
can get good grades, the child must be a talent in the future. Let
the child understand international affairs since childhood can
not only cultivate the children's patriotic heart, but also can feel
the importance of a country's prosperity and strength, so as to
set their own goals and study harder. Therefore, it is significant
for children to care about events from all over the world.(137)

Furthermore, when we are concerned with happening around

the world, we can do our best to help others and make the
world full of love. For example, a few days ago when I was
watching the news that there was a country at war, and the
country is very poor, there are a lot of children starved to death
in the street and many persons who had serious injury but no
medical devices to give them treatment. It is very pity and
regret, so I choose to come down whip-round and clothes. As it
appears of this example, we should know about events
happening around the world for preparing for doing some
contributions.(114)

From what have been discussed above, I can draw the conclusion that
we need to get to know the events from all around the world, because
it is good not only for ourselves but also for the whole world.(39)
