1. The right relation between Jesus and the Church is “Jesus is the foundation of the Church.

Jesus indeed is the foundation of the Church. He was called to gather twelve men to signify his
mission in order to bring back the nation to Yahweh. He also delivered and proclaims the good news or
word of God to bring healing and deliverance. Until on the day he was taken on his last meal with his
disciples, Jesus shares a meal meant a bond of unity and he once said “Do this is remembrance of me”.
His disciples continue to preach and spread the word of God.

2. The experience of the “Spirit of Jesus” is the most important element in the beginning of the
Church.

It all started when Jesus died, the gospel authors believed that Jesus is alive. In that time they saw
Jesus’ spirit for which made them proclaim that he is alive which God raised him from the dead. Jesus
Spirit comes to show himself in different ways to the gospel authors. They all saw the truth and believed
so they spread the word of God in behalf of him. Also, his spirit tells us that what we need, in order to be
a Church, is to be disciples of Jesus. We are to continue living as disciples within a community.

3. Discipleship is what really makes a group of people a “Church.”

Through the teaching of Jesus which it passes down from his people called his Apostles by which
made them as his disciples. They are spreading the word of God (the good news) to people. Discipleship
originates from the basic faith conviction that, indeed, the Kingdom has come in Jesus. To be one to
Church, you must obey and follow to the teachings because it is the word of god that brings us
knowledge and prosperity which we can share to other people.

4. To be able to speak of “Church,” 6 dimensions are very important.

The 6 dimensions will depend

on the creativity and cooperation of the community and it should be present to be called as one
“Church”. These dimensions include the following, 1: confession of faith, 2: fellowship, 3: the word of
God, 4: Prayer and sacraments, 5: ministries and 6: Mission. The confession of faith is one of the
important to have as an individual to believe God’s glory. Fellowship develops strong organization of
people to spread the good news as one community. A source of nourishment in early Churches which is
the word of God written as scriptures in the Bible. Prayer and Sacraments is a powerful weapon to speak
to God, this is for healing and forgiveness of sins. One way to help and serve a church is to ministries.
Continuing the path of Jesus is one of the missions as a Catholic.
