Thank you for your interest in learning German with us.

We are happy to inform you that we are starting the next courses for the A1.2, A2, A2.1, A2.2,
B1 & B2 levels from November.
This registration process is for internal candidates who have done a course in the past 6
months.
Keeping social distancing in mind, with the intention of uninterrupted quality teaching, the
Goethe‐Institut will now be conducting all classes on an online platform, with an added 10%
discount on the original fee.
Here is a description of the class format:
‐ During the online sessions, you can work on your desktop/smart phone/laptop etc. using the
Goethe‐Institut’s interactive learning platform. The course timings mentioned below are for live
sessions and self‐ learning. With the help of professional multimedia exercises and the latest
learning methods, you will practice your reading, writing, listening and speaking comprehension
skills in German.
‐ You will work on individual and group assignments. You can personally interact with other
students in the course via chat or in forums.
‐ Our faculty will support you for the entire duration of the course. This faculty will give you
new assignments and regular feedback on your progress.
- Once the situation around COVID-19 allows, we shall bring classes back into a face-to-face
teaching at the Institute’s premises.
- **The course time schedule includes a 45-minute time slot for practice and homework tasks
set by the teacher at the end of every class.

Form Submission Deadline:

A1.2 & A2.2: 13.10.2020(9am onwards) – 15.10.2020 (until 5pm)
A2 & A2.1: 18.10.2020 – 20.10.2020 (until 5pm)
B1 & B2: 22.10.2020 – 27.10.2020 (until 5pm)

Applications will only be accepted if they are received within the deadline. Further
instructions will be sent via email.
The course dates and prices are as follows:

A1.2 - 20.11.2020 - 23.01.2021 – Fri & Sat– 9.00 AM – 12.00 PM/ 6.00 PM – 9.30 PM
Fee ‐ BDT 11500/‐ BDT 10350/- + Examination fee extra (to be paid at time of exam
registration)
A2 ‐ 22.11.2020 - 31.01.2021– Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed – 6pm to 9.30pm.
Fee ‐ BDT 24000/‐ BDT 21600/- + Examination fee extra (to be paid at time of exam
registration)
A2.1 ‐ 20.11.2020 - 29.01.2021 – Friday & Saturday – 9.00am to 12.30am
Fee ‐ BDT 12000/‐ BDT 10800/- + Examination fee extra (to be paid at time of exam
registration)
A2.2 - 20.11.2020 - 29.01.2021 – Fri & Sat– 2.00pm to 5.30pm.
Fee ‐ BDT 12000/‐ BDT 10800/- + Examination fee extra (to be paid at time of exam
registration)
B1 – 21.11.2020 - 30.01.2021- Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues – 6.00pm - 10.15pm
Fee ‐ BDT 28000/‐ BDT 25200/- + Examination fee extra (to be paid at time of exam
registration)
B2 – 21.11.2020 - 30.01.2021- Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues – 1.00pm – 5:15pm

Registration process:
Please send an email to german-dhaka@goethe.de with your request for course registration by
following the process mentioned below.
Based on the date and time on which you send us a registration mail, you will receive a
confirmation mail and will have to accordingly make the payment as per the dates mentioned
in the mail. Please note that registration is on first‐come, first‐served basis.

The details on the contents of the registration mail are as below:

The subject line should contain only the following ‐
➢ Course level ‐ A1.2/A2/A2.1/A2.2/B1/B2
➢ Format of the course – Intensive / Extensive
➢ Timings of the course ‐ Start time of the course as mentioned above.
Example 1: A2 Intensive 6pm Example 2: A2.1 Extensive 9am.
The attachment should include:
➢ Completely filled in form (Partially filled forms will not be accepted)
➢ A passport size photo of the candidate
➢ Scanned copy/Photo of your passport data page or smart card or (NID+ Birth Certificate)
Please note the following conditions:
➢ Emails will be processed on a first‐come, first‐served basis. Emails not confirming to the
above requirements will not be processed.
➢ There are limited seats on offer.
➢ A confirmation mail and further procedure for the payment of fees will be sent after the
application deadline ends.
➢ Sending an email request does not guarantee a seat.
➢ Only emails received on the registration date and within the mentioned time will be
processed. We will follow first come first serve procedure for the email applications. The
candidate whose email arrives first will receive first priority. After our seats are
distributed the rest of the students will be kept in waiting list (also based first come first
serve principle depending on the arrival time of the email to the language course office).
➢ One email is required per person. Multiple persons cannot register with one email.
➢ Multiple mail requests from the same person will not be considered.
➢ In order to do the online courses, candidate require a stable internet connection.
➢ Do not send general queries to german-dhaka@goethe.de. This email is active only for
course registrations.
➢ General and further queries should be sent to language2-dhaka@goethe.de
➢ The registration is open for candidates currently residing in Bangladesh only.
➢ The course fee mentioned above is payable by local bank transfer, the details of which
will be shared in the confirmation mail once your seat is confirmed.
➢ Examination fee is extra, and is payable at the time of exam registration.
