Ladies and gentleman, before I start my speech today, let me introduce myself. My name is Eva,
and here I would like to deliver my speech about one major non-communicable disease that can
be dangerous for our health, that we call Asthma disease.

Health is very important thing in our life. And we always do everything to improve our health
quality. Now, there is a lot of disease that can be dangerous and have a big impact to our health,
and asthma disease is the part of them.

Ladies and gentleman, Asthma is a common lung disorder in which inflammation causes the
bronchi to swell and narrow the airways, and creating breathing difficulties. Asthma can start at
any age. Sometimes, people have asthma when they are very young and as their lungs develop,
the symptoms go away, but it's possible that it will come back later in life. Sometimes people get
asthma for the first time when they are older. WHO estimates that 235 million people currently
suffer from asthma. Asthma is the most common noncommunicable disease among children.
Most deaths occur in older adults. The symptoms of asthma, such as: coughing, wheezing,
shortness of breath, and chest tightness. Asthma is thought to be caused by a combination
of genetic and environmental factors. Environmental factors include exposure to air
pollution and allergens. Asthma can't be cured, but its symptoms can be controlled. Asthma can
controlled by known the triggers, using inhaler and medicine, and to prevent it we as humans can
change our habbit, like bad lifestyle and anything like that.

Ladies and gentleman, with this speech I would like to invite all of you to take attention for our
health, especially for asthma disease. We can start it from the small things like apply the health
life style, doing exercise to prevent the big things for the best quality of life for me, you, and us.
So, that’s all about my speech today, I apologize for any inconveniences. I hope my speech can
be meaningful to all of you. Thank your for your attention, and in the last I close this speech with
Good afternoon.
