Let me give thank to God, who gives us the healthy, Thank you for your time and chance
for me, so I can be here in front of you all to deliver my speech. I hope today all of you have a
good mood and condition too. Today I want to sharing the knowledge that I have about the
dangerous of bronchopneumonia.

Before I start my speech di you already knows about pneumonia? Did you ever hear about it?
Yup, Pneumonia is a category of lung infections. It occurs when viruses, bacteria, or fungi cause
inflammation and infection in the alveoli (tiny air sacs) in the lungs.

Then, Did you ever hear about bronchopneumonia?, the causes of brochopnemonia seems like
pneumonia. Pneumonia in general Bronchopneumonia is a type of pneumonia that causes
inflammation in the alveoli. Someone with bronchopneumonia may have trouble breathing
because their airways are constricted. Due to inflammation, their lungs may not get enough air.
Symptoms of bronchopneumonia can be mild or severe. Do you know, This respiratory infection
generally occurs in children under 2 years old. Bronchopneumonia is often the main cause of
death due to infection in children under 5 years old. The risk of bronchopneumonia increases if
the child lives in a dirty environment, is frequently exposed to cigarette smoke, has had direct
contact with someone with pneumonia, or has certain health conditions, such as malnutrition.

Now, do you know the symptoms of bronchopneumonia in children? Children and infants may
display symptoms differently. While coughing is the most common symptom in infants, they
may also have: a rapid heart rate, low blood oxygen levels, retractions of chest muscles,
irritability, decreased interest in feeding, eating, or drinking, fever, congestion, difficulty
sleeping. Than symptoms of bronchopneumonia in adult are Symptoms of bronchopneumonia
may be like other types of pneumonia. This condition often begins with flu-like symptoms that
can become more severe over a few days. The symptoms include : fever, a cough that brings up
mucus, shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid breathing, sweating, chills, headaches, muscle
aches, pleurisy, or chest pain that results from inflammation due to excessive coughing, fatigue,
confusion or delirium, especially in older people. The symptoms may be especially serious in
people with weakened immune systems or other illnesses.

Do you know how doctor diagnose bronchopneumonia? the doctor will do physical examination
first and support are required in the form of blood tests, X-rays, CT scans, sputum tests, sputum
culture, pulse oximetry, and bronchoscopy. After the diagnosis of bronchopneumonia has been
confirmed, the doctor will provide treatment like giving medicine, Fluid therapy (infusion),
oxygen therapies, and the others.

Bronchopneumonia is dangerous for our health but, this disease can be prevented. The following
are some simple steps to prevent our child from bronchopneumonia: teach them to washing their
hands, especially before and after eating, Do not expose children to pollution, such as dust and
cigarette smoke, Keep babies or children away from people with bronchopneumonia, and
Complete child immunizations to protect them from bacteria and viruses that cause
bronchopneumonia infection.

Ladies and Gentlemen, from now on, let us always take care of our own health in order to stay
healthy and avoid unwanted diseases. That is the speech that I can convey, hopefully after this
speech ends, you will know more about Bronchopneumonia, Signs and Symptoms, and
management that can be done in dealing with this Bronchopneumonia. I thank you for the
attention of all of you, I apologize if in delivering the material so fast, there was a lot of mistake
that I did, because we studied to be better in the next day. for the last, I say Good Morning
