ISRAEL BOROUCHOFF ff is currently Professor of Flute at “University and flutist with the Richards State. schoff studied at Juilliard, and has since been a = Little Orchestra Society of New York, solo ‘tut of the St Louis Symphony for eight years and solo flutist of the Chamber Symphony of Philadelphia. He has worked with many eminent conductors and musicians, such as Pierre Montewx, Georg Solti, Jean Martinon, Igor Stravinsky, Aaron Copland. Elizabeth Schwartzkopf, Dietrich Fischer- Dieskau, Pablo Casals and many others. His orchestral playing can be enjoyedon RCA. Columbia and Angel records, and his solo and chamber music on Orion, Crystal and Musical Heritage records. In addition to his teaching and performing responsi- bilities, Mr. Borouchoff is an active recitalist and clinician. He is also a past-president of the National Flute Association (1975-76).
