No other guidelines were issued for electronic filing during the period of quarantine
OCA Circular No. 89-2020. April 3, 2020 (Electronic Filing of Criminal Complaints and Informations, and
Posting of Bails)

- Pieces of evidence which are not documentary in nature may be photographed and
converted into PDF, but must be authenticated by a certification of the person submitting
such evidence as a true photo reproduction thereof.
- All pleadings must be under oath and indicate the case number, case title, and the caption, title,
or heading of the pleading, e.g.,Crim. Case No. 12345, People v. Juan Dela Cruz, Motion for
Reduction of Bail.

2. In PDF form and individually saved, as well as individually attached to the e-mail, if applicable.
The filename of the soft copy must be the same as the document title.
Examples:
Petition for Review should have a file name “Petition for Review.pdf”
Annex A should have a file name “Annex A.pdf”

5. All soft copies pertaining to the same case to be saved in one CD or attached to one email
o If maximum size is exceeded, documents may be saved in different CDs or emailed in
batches, which must be clearly marked and/or follow the format above
6. Attach to the CD (the original) or email (in PDF form) a verified declaration that the pleading
and annexes submitted electronically are complete and true copies of the printed documents
