1.How did the boys appear on the island?

As a result of a nuclear explosion that occurred somewhere, a group of teenagers who

were taken to evacuate find themselves on a desert island. The first on the seashore are Ralph
and a fat boy with glasses nicknamed Piggy. Finding a large shell at the bottom of the sea, they
use it as a horn and convene all the guys. Boys run from three years to fourteen; the last ranks are
the singers of the church choir, led by Jack Meridow. Ralph offers to choose the "main". Besides
him, Jack claims to be the leader, but the vote ends in favor of Ralph, who offers Jack to lead the
choristers, making them hunters.

2. What did the children do before?

At first, the boys lived together. Someone was hunting and someone was always holding
fire so that it would not go out. They lived together, helped each other, in everything and at the
same time they even liked the island, as it was like a fun game.

3. What happened to Symon and Piggy?

At one moment, Jack encourages everyone to join his army. He is confronted by Ralph,
who recalls that he was elected in the main democratic way. But with his reminder of
civilization, Jack contrasts the primitive dance, accompanied by the call: “Beast Beat! Cut the
throat! ” Suddenly, Simon appears on the site, who was on the mountain and with his own eyes
made sure that there was no beast there. He is trying to talk about his discovery, but in the dark
he is mistaken for a beast and killed in a wild ritual dance.

Piggy was killed a little later. After Piggy wants to explain to Jack that “the law and that
they save us” is better than “hunting and ruining everything,” the fight begins. In the ensuing
fight, the twins are captured. Ralph is seriously injured, and Piggy is killed by a stone thrown
from the fortress.

4. Who is Jack?

Almost nothing is known about Jack's past, except that he was in a church choir and was
from the UK where the war started (most likely, it refers to World War II). Jack, along with other
children, was evacuated on a plane that crashed on an island in the middle of the ocean during a
plane crash. Thus, a group of boys ended up on a desert island without adult control. You can
also call Jack a negative character, since it was in him for the first time from all children that an
animal instinct appeared.

5.What image in the novel lies in its title?

The author calls the head of the flies the head of a dead pig planted by Jack hunters on a
stake after one of the successful hunts (Jack himself said that it was a gift to the beast). Simon
and subsequently Ralph encounter her; and Simon, who may have suffered from epilepsy,
mentally talks to her. The head calls himself the Beast and confirms his hunch that the "Beast" is
in them, predicting the quick death of Simon.
