Use: To talk about plans and intentions in the future.


Structure: Subj. + be (am / is / are) + going to + base verb + complement
To be: I – am;
He / she / it – is
You / we / they - are
Auxiliary verb: am not; is not (isn’t); are not (aren’t).

Examples:

(-) I am not going to learn French next year
(?) Am I going to learn French next year?

Example:
