NORTH LIGHT TRUSS (MS):

North light truss are traditionally used for Short Spans in Industrial Workshop
type buildings.
One of the oldest & economical methods of covering large areas is the
NORTHLIGHT.
They allow maximum benefit to be gained from Natural Lighting by the use
of Glazing On The Steeper Pitch which generally faces North or Northeast to
reduce Solar Gain.
On the Steeper Sloping Portion of the Truss, it is typical to have a truss running
perpendicular to the plane of the north light truss.
This roof consists of a series of trusses fixed to girders.
 Spans can vary from 20 to 30 m. Used for Industrial Buildings, Commercial
Spaces, Sports Spaces. Godowns, Exhibitions & Convention Centres etc.
