Objective I am seeking to work in a dynamic environment under highly learned

faculty to further enhance my knowledge and understanding in my area
of specialization, also to learn and experience latest advancements in the

I am a qualified Speech and Language Therapist/ pathologist having
experience of 28 yrs in Rehabilitation field while thirteen year in speech
and language domain in different Hospital and renowned Institutions of
country. Presently I am working IPM&R (Institute of Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation Dow University of health Sciences Karachi August
2018 to onward,
I have capability to diagnosed the nature and extent of impairment and
record, analyze speech, language, and swallowing irregularities by using
written and oral tests, individuals of all ages from newborns to elderly as
well as effectively use special instruments and Capability to Develop
individualized plans and progress reports for the patients. Continuously
to Develop/adapt new methods and tools to evaluate problems for
Establish more effective diagnoses and treatment. I have developed Urdu
Naming Test for aphasia patients to calculate paraphasia.
I have generated department of speech therapy at AFIRM Rawalpindi
which now one of best set of country.
 I have good capability to Select augmentative or alternative
communication methods for their patients that could include automated
devices, PECS, Reading, writing, Functional Communication using
gestures, drawing, pointing, and sign language, also teach them to use
these methods.
I have expertise to teach those have with little or no speech, capability
how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase their language
skills to communicate more effectively.
I have ability to administer hearing, speech and language tests, evaluates
patients, and communicates/ generalize effectively.
I have additional ability of nutritionist, physiotherapist and provided
leadership in clinical practice to the professions of Speech-Language
Pathology and Audiology as a whole in AFIRM.

I have specialized proficiency in use of computerized Sono speech

program, speech lab, Glottal enterpriser and has competence in Video
fluoroscopy and Modified Barium swallow study as well as extra
capability of neurological test use interpretation of BDAE, BASA,
CLQT, CELF, PEEPs, CARS, Audio logical i.e. , PTA , FFA
,BERA/ABR , behavioral response hearing screening , Dyslexia
screening test and exacta.

I have did a role senior Swallowologist, which is one of Speech-language

pathology specialties who can evaluate and manage patients with oro-
pharyngeal dysphagia. Therapy may include education in
compensatory techniques to make swallowing more efficient and to
reduce the risk of aspiration, diet modification, E xercises to
strengthen and improve the coordination of the swallowing
mechanism. Moreover, using Vital-Stim therapy is helpful for some
patients to strengthen muscles responsible for swallowing mechanism.

I have started the program of assistant speech therapist and take part in
teaching of other professional i.e. physio technician from last ten year
also play effective role in Continuous Professional Developmental
(CPD) activities for ISO 9001:2008.

I have worked with a patient's family or support system to help them

care for a loved one with speech or language difficulties, capability to
works in hospitals and rehabilitation centers/schools and developed skills
to serve as supervisors, mentors or administrators. I have supervised the
interdisciplinary meeting and play key role for effective member
