EFH DOWNLOAD & INSTALLATION
STEP 1:
◦ Please click on the download link provided in your e-mail or the download details available in your
student cloud login to install EFH application on your Windows Laptop / Desktop
◦ The Installation file (.exe) will automatically download on the device
◦ Please check the name and extension of the downloaded file and ensure it is “EFHSetup.exe”; if not
rename the file to “EFHSetup.exe”

STEP 2:
◦ Click the installation file and application will start installing
◦ Using system recommended installation procedures, continue to press ‘Next’ button for all the steps

STEP 3:
◦ Once installation is complete EFH icon will be available in the start menu or alternatively you may
search for it by typing “EFH” in the search bar of taskbar

NOTES

1. Incase any Alert stops you from Downloading / Installing the Application please override the same and
continue with Download / Installation process.

2. Please disable all firewall and antivirus within the device before downloading. The same can be
enabled again after installation is complete.

1. To launch the application please click on the EFH icon in
start menu or by typing “EFH” in search bar of taskbar
2. Application will launch automatically, and you will see the
screen displayed on the left

◦ Please enter the unique Username and Password provided in
your e-mail
◦ Click on the “Login” button to proceed

◦ This screen will open for all new users
◦ Click “Yes” to continue with the registration process

◦ Once the paper is aligned, there are 2
methods to capture the image:
1. Using the camera timer
◦ Click on the “Timer” button highlighted
here which will start a timer for 5 seconds,
the photo will automatically capture after 5
seconds and will be available for crop
thereafter

2. Using the insert button

◦ If you feel the paper is aligned you may
click on “Insert” which will directly insert
the image into you answer script and the
image will not be available for any edit

using the timer option, you
may crop the image to remove
any unwanted background

◦ Any exam question papers that are available for
download will automatically download when
application is opened with an active internet

◦ Progress status of question paper download will be
visible in this screen
◦ You can “Refresh” if progress status is stuck or
available schedule is not visible

QUESTION PAPER DOWNLOAD COMPLETE
◦ Once exam question paper is downloaded, the same
screen will be visible with Status as ‘Ready for Exam’
◦ Options to proceed:
1. You may proceed to practice exam
2. Remain on the same screen
3. Close the application

Note: If the exam is scheduled to start in the next 5 mins,

you will be automatically re-directed to the exam policies
screen
◦ If you are in practice exam mode, 5 minutes prior to exam
app will auto shut down and app will have to be launched
again

◦ If your device or application freezes or shuts down during the exam

STEP 1: Re-start device / application

◦ Please re-start the device / application and follow the same steps to launch EFH application

STEP 2: Login
◦ During login at this stage, only Username and Password will be required; unlock key is not required

STEP 3: Resume exam

◦ The exam will automatically resume from the failover point and you will not lose any answers already given
◦ The time taken to restart device / application will be added to the exam session time ensuring no exam time is lost

◦ Once the exam is completed,
either by clicking on the
“Finish Exam” button on the
dashboard or by auto finish –
the screen will change to the

is being prepared for
submission

ANSWER SCRIPT UPLOAD
◦ Once answer script is prepared and
ready it will upload automatically
◦ Internet available:
◦ If internet connection is available
immediately post exam, the script will
upload at that time
◦ Application will shut down post
successful upload
◦ Internet NOT available
◦ Switch off the device
◦ Whenever internet is available, launch
EFH application and login using
username and password only
◦ The available answer scripts will
automatically upload
