King Arthur

Narration： It is the year 650 in England. There is no king and people are fighting.
Narration： One night Merlin the magician has a dream…
Narration： In the morning………..
Merlin: I see a wonderful king .His name is Arthur! How can I find him?
Narration： Merlin makes a magic stone. He puts a sword in it. Only the true king can pull out
the sword.
A man: You are not the true king.
Arthur: Shall I try?
A man: You are only a boy!
Another man: Try, son! Let’s all have a good laugh
Narration： Arthur pulls hard.
(Finally, he manage to pull out the sword)
The people: Who are you….what is your name
Arthur: Arthur.
The people: Our new king!
Arthur: But I don’t know how to be king. (Think)
Narration： Suddenly….
Arthur: Who are you?
Merlin: Don’t be afraid! My name is Merlin .with my help you can be a king.
Narration： The next day many important people come to see Arthur.
Peoples: He is very young!
King Arthur: Who are those people?
Merlin: That’s your half-sister, Morgan and her son Mordred. She can see into the future.
Narration： Merlin teaches every day ,and after four years he is strong ,good king
Narration： One morning , a soldier visits Arthur .
Soldier: The lords from the north are coming to fight you!
Merlin: Go now and fight, Arthur!
King Arthur: Go faster, men!
Narration： When they arrive there is a long battle.
Soldiers: Help!
Soldiers: Oh no!
Narration： Hours later most of the other soldiers are dead
Soldiers: Arthur is king of all England!
Soldiers: We can win every battle!
Guinevere’s father: Come to my castle .Lets eat and drink all night!
Guinevere’s father: Have some more food everybody.
The peoples: Ha, ha, ha!
Guinevere’s father: Do you know my daughter Guinevere?
King Arthur: No… it’s very nice to meet you.
Narration： Arthur and Guinevere talk all evening.
Narration： When Arthur comes back…
King Arthur: I want to marry Guinevere.
Merlin: No….no… Arthur!
Merlin: I see a dark future for you and Guinevere. Don’t marry her!
King Arthur: I am King and l choose my Queen!
Narration： Arthur builds the castle of Camelot.
King Arthur: Here is my new castle for my future Queen.
Merlin: Arthur I must speak to you……
King Arthur: What’s the matter?
Merlin: I must leave you now. I am losing my magic. Come with me Arthur.
Merlin: Look into the water.
Merlin: Take the magic sword. You need this for your battles.
King Arthur: Thank you!
Merlin: Be careful. Don’t break it- without your sword you are nothing.
Merlin: Goodbye, Arthur.
Narration： Three weeks later Arthur marries Guinevere
The people: Good luck!
Narration： Two people stand alone …..Morgan and her son,
Mordreded
Morgan: I see unhappy future for Arthur and Guinevere!
Narration： Guinevere gives Arthur a large round table
King Arthur: The strongest knights in England can sit at this table
King Arthur: I want to find the best knights in our country. Let’s have a
competition today!
Gawain: Can I fight first?
Narration： Gawain fights many different men.
Nobody can fight him.
Queen Guinevere: Is Gawain the strongest knight in England?
Lancelot: No, I am!
King Arthur: Who are you? I can’t see your face.
Queen Guinevere: Let’s watch him fight. We can see his face later.
Lancelot: Shall I fight in your name, Queen Guinevere?
Queen Guinevere: Yes. Good luck!

Lancelot: Lancelot.
King Arthur: Lancelot is the strongest man in all England. He can be the
first knight of the Round Table!
Narration： Soon, knights come from all over
the country . They sit at the Round Table.
Narration： Arthur and Guinevere are very
happy together .
King Arthur: You’re our best friend, Lancelot.
Narration： And in the villages…
Villagers: King Arthur, thank you! We have lots of food to eat.
Villagers: We have a strong king at last! There is no more fighting.
Narration： Guinevere and Lancelot often go riding together.
Queen Guinevere: Look at these beautiful flowers.
Narration： One night Morgan and Mordreded arrive at Camelot.
Modder: Where is King Arthur?
King Arthur: Hello Morgan! Come in. Would you like to stay?
Morgan: Yes.
Narration： Morgan and Modred stay for a weeks……. They are friendly to
Guinevere and Arthur.
Morgan: What a beautiful castle!
Queen Guinevere: Thank you.
Narration： But later……..
Morgan: When I look in to the future I see King Arthur is dead. You must be king, my
son!
Mordreded: Yes, mother.
Narration： One morning Arthur visits Morgan.
King Arthur: Guinevere and I have no son or daughter. Mordreded can be king when I die.
Morgan: Thank you, dear brother. But you are very young….
Merlin: Be careful, Arthur. Mordred is a bad man.
Narration： Arthur tells Guinevere about the dream.
Queen Guinevere: Don’t worry. It’s only a dream. Morgan and Mordreded are nice people.
Morgan: I can see into the future. There is no Arthur, no castle, and you are king!
Narration： Arthur and his knights often ride into the country.
King Arthur: Let’s go!
Lancelot: Faster!
Narration： They come back with many stories. Guinevere listens excitedly.
Queen Guinevere: Oh Lancelot. You’re very strong!
Narration: Every evening the knights eat and drink together.
Narration: One day Mordreded comes to Arthur.
Mordred: Guinevere and Lancelot are often together.
King Arthur: Yes, of course…… Lancelot is my best friend.
Modred: What are you saying, Modred?
Mordred: Perhaps Guinevere and Lancelot are in love……
King Arthur: Is it true? Do you love my wife?
Lancelot: Yes, but-
King Arthur: Leave Camelot now, before I kill you.

Narration： Lancelot rides away quickly with some knights.
Narration： Guinevere is very unhappy.

Narration： In the towns and villages people begin to fight again. Everyone is afraid.
Mordred: You must be a strong king.
Mordred: Find Lancelot and fight him!
Narration： The next day, Arthur leaves with many knights.
Morgan: Goodbye, King Arthur.
Mordred: Ha, ha, ha! Bye!
Narration： A week later, Arthur and his knights find Lancelot.
King Arthur: Let’s fight now! Are you ready?
Lancelot: But I don’t want to fight my best friend. Let’s talk.
King Arthur: No. There’s no more time.
Narration： Just then, a soldier arrives from Camelot.
Soldier: Mordred is now king! Everybody thinks you are dead, and the queen is in prison.
King Arthur: Let’s forget our fight! Help me, Lancelot.
Narration： Arthur and his knights quickly ride back to Camelot.
King Arthur: Let’s find Mordred and kill him.
Soldiers: Mordred’s in the next village.
King Arthur: We need to sleep. Let’s find him tomorrow.
Merlin: Do not fight Mordred tomorrow. Lancelot is coming with many soldiers. Wait
for him.
Gawain: Shall we fight Mordred today?
King Arthur: No Gawain. We must wait. Lancelot and his soldiers are coming.
Narration： King Arthur and his men meet Mordred
Mordred: Hello, old man! Do you want to give me your crown?
King Arthur: Your traitor! Where is my wife? I must see her.
Mordred: You must fight me first!

Narration： Just then Arthur sees a snake.

Soldiers at fight: Help!

Narration： They fight for many hours.
Soldiers at fight: No!
Soldiers at fight: Take that!
Narration： After three hours…….
King Arthur: My knights, my friends, my soldiers….. They are all dead!
King Arthur: Gawain….. My true friend.
King Arthur: Where’s Mordred? I want to kill him!
King Arthur: Die, you traitor!
Mordred: Ha, ha, ha!
King Arthur: No! My sword…..
(AARGH!!!!!!!!)
Mordred: Goodbye, Arthur!
King Arthur: Help!
Narration： Just then, Lancelot and his soldiers arrive.
Lancelot: I’m here now. We can win this battle!
King Arthur: You can’t help me now…. I’m dying.
Narration： Lancelot finds Mordred
Lancelot: You traitor Mordred!
Mordred: No……!
King Arthur: Take my sword. Throw it into the water over there!
Narration： Lancelot throws the sword.
Narration： A hand comes out of the water.
Merlin: Come with me Arthur.
King Arthur: Goodbye Lancelot. Find Guinevere and look after her.
Lancelot: Yes, my lord.
King Arthur: Never forget King Arthur and the magic of the Round Table!
