1.

Globalization is the term used to describe the way countries are becoming more
interconnected both economically and culturally. Globalization is the way of linking
relationships and the flow of information, products, services, capital and people between
the political and economic boundaries of global society. Globalization has had many
effects especially on the youth. There are different faces of globalization, these are
education, economy, politics and culture and communication. Despite of it having both
positive and negative effects, globalization is still important for me because it results free
trade between countries, provides job opportunities, brings vigorous competition which is
important to the economy, speeding up communication through the internet and social
media, economy development and increases production in a country. Globalization is
really important and useful not unless large companies will be using it for their own
interest.

2. No, I can’t imagine a world without Globalization. Globalization is the way countries
from different parts of the world are being connected, globalization makes a relationship
between the countries. Without globalization, it’s impossible for us Filipinos and also to
our country to develop our economy because we would have to deal with our poverty
problem independently, and we wouldn’t be as advanced with our technologies and
communications as we are today. Globalization creates a world that makes us easier to
be connected and share ideas, helping one another and lifting each other’s economy
standards. Let’s say for example poor country would receive a significant help of capital
as international companies take advantage of the lower wages and in time this could lead
to a gradual eradication of poverty. There are so much opportunities this globalization
gives to every country. Honest globalization might not suck, we should give it a try.
