Your Questions, Answered!

COVID-19 Questions:
Amazon is closely following COVID-19 and implementing processes that promote candidate and
employee safety. Out of an abundance of caution, our default process for onsite interviews will now
be held virtually via Chime. The health of our employees and customers is paramount. Teams are
now working remotely and new hires are being on boarded virtually.

Is there a remote option?

Currently, this opportunity with AWS would require you to be based in / relocate to Dublin. To
help with relocation Amazon will provide a relocation package, which includes a lump sum to cover
transport of you /your family/belongings, and rent deposit, as well as relocation assistance to help
you and any family who may come with you should you be successful. This may include temporary
accommodation if needed. *useful relocation links below.

Given the current COVID-19 situation all employees are working remotely*

What is the Salary range?

For now, I cannot give a definitive figure on salary, as that is determined by your experience and
strength of interview if all goes well but I can tell you is the package includes a sign on bonus,
pension, health insurance but best of all (substantial) shares in Amazon. So you will be well looked
after if you decide to come on board.
What I am more than happy to do is confirm that we would be able to match your expectations, if
you are comfortable sharing this confidentially.

What is the interview process?

This is a 2 step process that includes a Phone Interview and final On-Site interview which will now be
held virtually. Throughout this, you would have a few points of contact (Myself, as well as a
recruitment coordinator and possibly a hiring manager for example) however; I would be there to
answer questions you might have along the way. We would also provide preparation for each step.
I hope this helps!

Is English required?
Yes. AWS operates globally through the English language, and a working proficiency is required.
However, please note that AWS Dublin has Amazonians from over 100 nationalities, most of which
English is their second language!
