Scenario BD #2 – “From Parade to Battle in 10 Hours.

Russia, within site of the Spires of Moscow, October 1941. After a series of
stunning successes, the German army was at the gates of Moscow. It was here that
the Russians decided to make a stand. However, the Russian losses had been so
severe that at times, tanks would be featured in parades in Moscow and then
immediately shiped to battle. This is one such battle that may have occurred outside
of Moscow as the Germans try to penetrate the Russian Defenses while the Russians
rush a few companies of tanks to reinforce the front.

SETUP
MAP CONFIGURATION
Conditions
1. Normal visibility No Adverse Terrain.

Russians
N 1. The Western Group sets up first within 2 hexes of an IP which
10 must be placed on hex 4E7.
2. The Central Group sets up second within 2 hexes of an IP which
must be placed in hex 4Q6.
3. The Eastern Group sets up third anywhere on hill 4.19 or in the
4 town of Orlovo.

Germans
1 1. Force enters the map board on turn 1 anywhere along the North
edge.
2. If entering on a Path hex, units may do so at the Path movement
rate.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

1. The Germans automatically win initiative on turn 1. On all other turns roll as normal.
2. All Streams are passable.
3. If special ammo types are available, utilize ammo limits.
4. If Morale rules (OR) are in effect, utilize the listed point information.
5. No units may be Hidden.
6. The Germans may exit units off of the Southern Edge.
7. Requires the Base set and Exp. 1 and Exp. 2.

VICTORY CONDITIONS

Turn Length: 15 Turns.

1. 50 VPs are awarded to the Force that controls hex 4E7.


2. 50 VPs are awarded to the Force that controls hex 4Q6.
3. 50 VPs are awarded to the Force that controls hilltop 4.19.
4. 50 VPs are awarded to the Force that controls the 5 or more hexes of the town of Orlovo.
5. The Germans get 3 times the VP value of any unit exited off the South edge of the map.
6. Unit VP for Unit elimination, knock out or brew up.
