Water After focusing on water, economy, human development and social

December Social Reform Capacity building training at Wardha for many youths from our villages
to Agrindus for one year from great agri scientist Dr Karunakaran to
become agri-entrepreneurs.
Social Reform Swachh Bharat Mission
All villagers agreed that there will be individual toilets and soak pits for
every house and to maintain village surroundings clean.
2017
January Social Reform Installed E-learning, Computers, Water Filters in schools.
Social Reform To improve the popularity of traditional sports, we provided wrestling
soil material.
We provided 105 Sewing Machines to Women’s Self Help Group and

trained them. This will improve their skills and became an alternate

March Social Reform All 15 Villages joined Selu to become 100% hagandari mukt (every house
has a toilet). All done by the villagers without any support from us.
Social Reform We organized a wrestling tournament in Waghala. Over 200 Wrestlers
from as far as Latur and Beed had come for the tournament.
May Water More than 8 kms of Paapnashi river deepening and widening is over,
Management during this work we created a bund of around 7 feet height along the
river. This will be very useful for transportation of water across the
entire length of the river.
We have empowered village women by giving training in sewing and

Social Reform For over 2 decades, Ration Cards had not been distributed in any of the
105 villages of Parli. We requested the former Collector to arrange ration
cards for at least 15 villages. Due to his intervention, the administration
was put on fast track mode for making the Ration Cards.
Agriculture Tree plantation across the 10.2 kms of the river bank, 13200 bamboo
trees were planted along with 2000 different varieties of trees like
Jamun, Arjun, Moringa, Chinch, Wad, Peepal, Audumber, Putrajeev etc.
On the riverside seeds of "khus" and "ginni" grass were sown to hold the
soil.
July Social Reform Kabaddi Tournament was organized in which 16 teams including two
girl teams participated.
Agriculture The young and dynamic collector, Devinder singh along with the CEO,
Nanaware, Forest officials, tehsildar visited Global Parli villages.
Social Reform We have a regular fortnightly/monthly review meetings with Div
Commissioner (Aurangabad) and Collector (Beed).
Awards Indian Leadership Conclave awarded Global Parli for its efforts on River
Rejuvenation.
Social Reform Global Parali and Go Beyond Foundation Organised Sports day for
Maharashtra High School in Moha Village. This Event was sponsored by
UPL
Social Reform Training of 6 villages by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) agronomists and
scientists on insecticide.
September Agriculture We launched sericulture (silk worm rearing) programme to augment the
income of villagers. 363 Farmers agreed to participate in the programme.
Agriculture After the rains, all 14000 trees planted on the riverfront were checked.
Shri Mahajan, chief of Social Forestry Dept, Marathwada, came with his
team to our villages to examine the plantation.
Social Reform Started cleanliness drive in the Kaudgaon Huda village with Krishi
Vigyan Kendra.
Social Reform We try to organise sport event every month in partnership with
Gobeyond foundation and school management. This month's sports meet
was organised in Kaudgaon Huda.
Water We got permission to repair 5 check dams called KT Weir dams just

Social Reform Kiran Patwardhan, an expert in rural management, an advisor to GoM on
Animal husbandry and rural industry held a series of meetings in all our
villages.
Social Reform Borosil Glass works is actively working with us on helping the Global
Parli project.
Besides the library books and storage, they donated 12 computers, 3
laptops, chemistry laboratory instruments, 3 solar pumps (2 in Moha
school and 1 in Waghala), Solar panels and lights for Moha school hostel
and much more.
November Social Reform Borosil Glass works funded us for repairing toilet in Moha school and
helped us get their vendors for solar.
Social Reform Green Soles donated good quality footwear to children (around 4320) in
all our schools.
Agriculture Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) distributed few sets of protective equipment
in Rewali village. Framers were trained by the officers of KVK about how
to buy, dilute, use and dispose of insecticide and how to protect
themselves.
December Social Reform We have decided to focus on the top 5 students from class 8th, 9th and
10th (6 girls and 9 boys), and gave them special tuitions from the local
village tuition classes in Kaudgaon Huda.
Social Reform Gobeyond invited six youth from our villages to participate in the Powai
Marathon on the 6th Dec.
Agriculture 302 farmers have made advance payment for changing crop to mulberry.
2018
January Social Reform Village marathon was organised. Over 250 children participated.
Footwear were distributed to all 3900 school students of the 19 schools
in 15 villages. These chappals/shoes were distributed by Greensole and
sponsored by HDFC.
Water The paapnashi river has been deepened and widened for 10.2 kms. Five
Management KT type dams are being repaired to stop the flow of water.
Social Reform Rotary Club of Nariman Point has donated 8 new computers, which we
have given to schools in Malnathpur, Kaudgaon Ghoda, Parchundi,
Vadkhel, Revali, Mamdapur and Moha villages Zilha Parishad Schools.
One computer we have kept for our war room in our office in Sirsala.
Water 12 of our villages have taken on the challenge of participating in the
Management Water Cup of Aamir Khan's Paani Foundation. Work will be done in April
and May
March Water Watershed Development started and small committees were formed to

villages are moving ahead faster than expected.
Water Paani Foundation : As the clock struck 12 at midnight, villagers started

villages.

Management Final Report – Amazing and life-transforming
After 45 days of intensive work with men and machines from 8th April to
22nd May, this is the final report of the water conservation work done in
our villages (mostly in Bhilegaon, Moha, Parchundi and Malnathpur, and
some partial work in Kaudgaon Huda and Mamdapur).
Machine Work: (with approx. surface water storage)
1. Farm Ponds - 151 nos- 6783 lakh litres
2. Bund- 42 kms- 420 lakh litres
3. Deep CCT- 2.4 kms- 57 lakh litres
4. WAT 20.3 kms- 319 lakh litres
5. Deepening river 19 kms- 420 lakh litres
6. CNB dams 7 nos - 73 lakh litres
Shramdaan Work: (with surface water storage)
1. Farm Ponds - 10 nos- 80 lakh litres
2. Bund 18 kms- 190 lakh litres
3. Soak Pits 414 nos- 76 lakh litres
FINAL TOTAL –. 220 crore litres of surface water storage created. Equal
to 84,200 water tankers worth Rs 16.4 crore, every year. At least for the
next two decades.
July Social Reform Distributed solar lanterns to students in a school in Vadkhal.
Social Reform From within the 15 villages of Global Parli, Moha village got the first
prize and Bhilegaon got the third prize from Parli taluka in Paani
Foundation competition.
Global Parli has started an activity called मी सबला with these SHGs in

which they have taken an oath of not using govt granted funds for

Social Reform Shapoorji Pallonji (who have a solar farm near our villages) installed 75
street light poles in our Global Parli villages and will be installing 75
more. They have repaired more than 100 street solar lamps that were
lying spoilt for years.
Agriculture Nursery visit started.
Social Reform We have increased our work from 15 villages to all the 106 villages of
Parli.
December Agriculture 296 farmers from the 106 villages of Parli went to Jain Hills, Jalgaon for 3
days field visit and training trip.
2019
January Agriculture To lay the road map for our mission of planting 10 lakh fruit trees
Mayank Gandhi & team Global Parli met Divisional Commissioner Mr
Purushottam Bhapkar and his officers at Aurangabad. Commissioner has
assured his full support and accepted almost all suggestions of Global
Parli.
Agriculture To achieve our goal of 1 Million Fruit Tree team Global Parli has started
small pocket meetings with farmers and villagers.
Social Reform Global Parli​ celebrated ​Republic Day​ by distributing Solar Lamps at
schools in Mamdapur and Parchundi.
Agriculture One million Fruit trees registration of farmers have begun - We have
already crossed 50% of our target. 5,00,000 trees already booked by
farmers of Parli Taluka.

Papayas are already planted. The balance trees will be planted in July,
once the monsoon starts.

Social Reform Late night pocket meetings were arranged in villages of Parli taluka of
Beed District
March Agriculture We have already achieved 94% of our target of registering 10 lakh fruit
trees by June end.
Agriculture Kawle Sir (HOD of Horticulture in SMD Mohekar University Kalamb)
taught them various techniques how to manage growth of plants and
other works.
Global Parli also signed an MOU with the University, in which they
promised to take full responsibility of training and hand-holding the
farmers.

Agriculture We have reached our target of 10 lakh fruit trees in the 106 villages of
Parli Taluka, much earlier (deadline was June end 2019). Farmers have
booked the following trees
Sitafal (Super Golden) - 1,90,869 trees
Mango (Kesar) - 2,41,140 trees
Peru (Lucknow 49) - 1,46,600 trees
Drumsticks (siddhivinayak) - 1,62,807 trees
Dadimb (Super Bhagwa) - 25,863 trees
Lemon (Sai Sherbeti) - 70,449 trees
Papaya (Taiwan 786) -1,05,088 trees
Banana (Tissue culture) - 68,389 trees
TOTAL 10,01,205 (Over Ten lakh trees)
1. Orders for the above have been placed in the best nurseries of
Maharashtra. Deliveries will begin in July '19 once monsoon sets in.
2. Farmers will grow it in their fields or on their boundaries.
3. Global Parli(GP) subsidises part of the sapling cost as well as
financially helps to a small extent for water harvesting.
4. GP trains farmers by taking them on field visits, bringing agronomists
and scientists for on-field training and facilitating soil testing, making
project report and proper decision making.
5. Next year GP will start helping in marketing the produce.
6. Trees will increase income of farmers by 20 to 50 times, increase
rainfall, reduce dependency on rains and improve the environment.

Agriculture 1. Farmers have registered for 10,62,771 fruit trees to grow in their
farms instead of cotton and soya. Fruit trees include Mango, Peru, Sitafal,
Dadimb (Pomegranate), Papaya, Drumsticks, Lemon and mulberry.
2. The delivery of these saplings that we have ordered from the best
nurseries will be given to the farmers in July middle (once rains
stabilize) for growing on their farms.

9. Most importantly – Use of Zeba.
Zeba is a starch based fertilizer (organic) in the shape of tiny balls that
grows 500 times as it absorbs water. These balls then release water
when the soil gets dry. Zeba increases yield, protects against rainfall gaps
and is a wonderful insurance against crop failure. The team from UPL
have gone farm to farm to train farmers and have distributed Zeba free
of charge to the farmers.
10. We are working closely with the administration to ensure drinking
water to the needy villages, for short-term need.
July Agriculture The distribution and plantation of one million fruit trees project in Parli
has begun....

August Agriculture So far the planting of 55600 Lemon plants has been completed. The aim
of the Global Parli is to reduce the cost of production of the farmers to
encourage cultivation. We are giving this quality plant to farmers for only
10 rupees and with the help of 10,000 acres, Zeba which is Rs. 550 per kg
is free. The function of the Zeba is to hold the falling rainwater to 400
times its capacity.

Rain is a cause of concern in Parli.
10 lakh fruit plants are ready for distribution, and so are the farmers. By
October 15th, we hope to reach the target of planting 10 lakh trees,
without any substantial mortality.
Awards Global Parli was awarded for exemplary work at 10th India Leadership
Conclave 2019.
