What I learned: That sometimes homework can be fun too and it should not always be the same

old routinely homework. Experimenting can lead to better student success and a more easy and

natural way of learning for students. This kind of activity was familiar to me, but it taught me

new things that I did not know. I also learned how to utilize the technology at my disposal such

as paint.

ISTE National Educational Technology Standards for STUDENTS: (NETS)*S Addressed:

Standard #6 6b: Students create original works or responsibly repurpose or remix digital

resources into new creations.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: As a math teacher I’m thinking of trying to create a

image with my students where we draw math problems into a beautiful design. Using paint and

other simple resources that anybody could easily pick up and join in on. Maybe it could be with

shapes and sizes and we try to make a image made of these shapes and we have to calculate the

sizes needed to fit it.
