Writing Essay Test 1

How can we save fossil fuel?

With growing industrialization worldwide, dependence on fossil

fuels increases day by day. Since these are nonrenewable sources, in
order to deal with the imminent global energy scarcity, alternative
and renewable energy sources are being developed.

Undoubtedly recycling is the best solution for saving limited

resources. By recycling waste, less of it goes to landfills. Many cities
have recycling programs and require residents to put plastics, paper,
and aluminum into separate trash bins. You can also donate clothing,
lights, and appliances you don’t plan to use anymore, instead of
throwing them out, so they continue to serve a purpose rather than
investing in additional manufactured products.

In the long term, we argue that nuclear technology is the only

developed energy source that is capable of delivering the enormous
quantities of energy that will be needed to run modern industrial
societies. It has the capacity to meet city and industrial needs with just
one reactor. It also doesn’t rely on fossil fuels, not being affected by
the unpredictability of oil and gas costs. Some may say that it is risky
for community’s environment and even for the people’s lives but the
significant accidents are actually incredibly rare and with measures
taken accordingly, they can be avoided. The advantages of this
technology outline every risk.

The outcome is clear that one day we will run out of fossil fuel and
we need to take actions before it happens including recycling and
another source of combustion. I am of the opinion that even recycling
will not prevent the inevitable and we need to rely on nuclear power.
