Abstract

Nowadays many researches are considering the data from social media. Social
media is now a boon to business men , politicians , teachers, entertainers etc. Sentiment
Analysis is now a part of Social Media research which helps us to identify the ploarity
behind a text or image. It help us to identify the public opinion . Many machine learning
techniques are used for identifying the emotion behind a text or image. This includes linear
regressions, Naïve Bayes , SVM and deep learning techniques like CNN. Many steps are
involved in this process and the latest research tries to imitate human brain itself through
the methodology of Visual Sentiment Analysis. Sentiment Analysis is increasingly gaining
importance in the field of brand promotion which inturn help organizations or individuals to
remain competitive in their fields.
