Canvassing for Mother

Nine CLD members bundled up and
headed to Mother Hubbard Cupboard
on the morning of January 17th, which
was Martin Luther King Day. “It was a
rewarding experience to be proactively
helping the community on a day off,” said
board member, Joe Wang,

Mother Hubbard Cupboard’s new garden
project.
Mother Hubbard Cupboard is in its initial
stages of designing this community garden
where residents will not only be able to
purchase fresh produce, but request what
they would like to be grown in the
