System Description Living Non-Living

System System
1. Circulatory The circulatory system is a
System network consisting of blood,
blood vessels, and the heart. This
network supplies tissues in the
body with oxygen and other
nutrients, transports hormones,
and removes unnecessary waste
products.
2. Nervous System The nervous system is a complex
network of nerves and cells that
carry messages to and from the
brain and spinal cord to various
parts of the body.

3. Digestive System The digestive system consists of

the parts of the body that work
together to turn food and liquids
into the building blocks and fuel
that the body needs.
4. House Water The house water system is a
System system that takes an inflow of
cold water in a tank (stock) and
produces hot water that flows out
in a faucet or shower head. A
balancing feedback is present in
order to set the right temperature.
5. Neighborhood The neighborhood transportation
Transportation system ensures the safe
System movement of vehicles and
pedestrians, in part, by
addressing vehicle speed and
volume, thereby improving the
quality of life in our
neighborhoods.
6. Nation’s Fishery Fishery systems could be
System decomposed into 3 subsystems:
(a) The resource and its
surrounding ecosystem
(b) Resource users
(c) Governance and management

The video implicitly discussed

these three subsystems. Fishes
that started out in the ocean as
part of a school relates to the first
system, the resource system.
Inflow of fishes is caused by fish
reproduction and fishes
habitually flow out because of
natural deaths and because of
fishing predators. These fishing
predators turn to be very related
to the second subsystem.
Resource users’ subsystem in the
video includes Marcel as part of
the system where it comprises
the different fishers operating in
the fishery [their behavior and
dynamics], main targets, the
processing sector and as well as
the economic functions. The
inflow and outflow of resources
should be fairly stable and that’s
when governance and
management subsystem in
fishery systems comes in. This
subsystem considers possible
ways of intervention, institutional
development, selection criteria
for management strategies,
enforcement mechanisms, and
the way of contending with
multiple criteria in the selection
of management tools.
7. Social System As shown in the video, the social
system became a subsystem of
the traffic system due to different
responses or feedbacks of the
people stuck in the traffic,
including Alex. People blew
their horns making the people
become irritated and tensed.
Everyone became impatient and
the whole thing quickly escalated
into a quite mess and this got
everybody angrier—this shows
that the people in the social
system are responding to one
another in a feedback loop.
8. Traffic System This system is created when
there’s a delay that involves
transportation or movement
through designated location.
There are several reasons or
causes why this kind or type of
system exists. The traffic system
caused the people held in the
traffic, including Alex to react
aggressively. The different
violent reactions and feedbacks
of people trapped in the traffic
presented reinforcing feedback
loop as it gains strength at each
cycle. Moreover, as can be
observed, the traffic system
became a subsystem of
transportation system.
9. System of This could also be a subsystem of
Friendship support system. Friendship
systems are strengthened and
reinforced by many systems just
like how it was proved in the
video. Many systems made it all
possible for Marcel, Cynthia and
Alex to sit down and enjoy a nice
meal together while they’re lost
in the evening’s delicious food
and pleasant company.
