Francisco was born in Portugal (Caldas da Rainha), 22nd of July in 1998 and he started his

studies playing at the age of 10 years, in the local Conservatory of his town (Conservatory of
Caldas da Rainha), with Professor Luís Roldão.

After spending 5 years in Caldas da Rainha, Francisco did the entrance examinations to the
Music school of National Conservatory, in Lisbon, one of the main conservatories in Portugal,
where we was accepted and started studying with Eurico Pereira.

In 2015 he played the emblematic Concierto de Aranjuez by J. Rodrigo with the symphonic
orchestra from the National Conservatory of Lisbon, in the Cinema/ Theater Sao Jorge.
Francisco also played in some renowned halls of Portugal has Casa da Música in Porto (Prémio
Jovens Músicos), Palácio da Ajuda in Lisboa, etc.

Finished his studies in Lisbon, Francisco Luís went to Maastricht Conservatorium, where he
currently lives. After being approved in the examinations, he began his bachelor with Carlo
Marchione.

Francisco Luis has participated in several international competitions, where he was awarded
more than 20 times, counting already with 10 1st prizes, either in solo competitions as in
chamber music.

Francisco Luis is a guitarist who plays varied styles and distinguishes himself through his
engagement with the public and his extremely sensitive approach. He prioritizes exploration of
the colors of the guitar, and always exhibits a high technical level in his execution.
