 Design of Helical gear box (4 stages), Shafts, Keys, Gear rollers, Rope drum, Pulley, Brass
bushes, Hook as per Indian Standards.
 Selection of Rolling element bearings, Oil seal, O-Ring, Fasteners, Motors, Structural-
elements like Channels, Angles, I-Beams, Tubes, Etc.
II. 80 tones wind mill tower welding rotator-March, 2016
 Designed a rotator with W o r m & w o r m w h e e l g e a r b o x o f 1 : 5 0 r a t i o for rotating
the shells of wind- mill tower for peripheral welding & grinding.
III. Transfer car-October, 2016
 Designed a Bogie with kerb weight of 26 tones to move wind mill towers of 150 tones on
rail. Track width of Bogie =20 meters, Wheel base of Bogie=6 meters.
IV. Establishment, Facilitation & Supervising of ROBOT welding station, 2016
 Designed a bed of 4 meters long with LM guide to move & locate the ROBOT for welding.
 Designed hydraulic power pack, Locating mechanisms, Hydraulic clamps.
 Selection of Linear Motion guide (bearings & rail), Track chain.
Projects in Mepco Schlenk Engineering College
I. Design and fabrication of All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) - February, 2015
 As a team of 25 members, fabricated a non-commercial ATV car with a span of 5 months
after got selected by the technical committee of leading automobile companies.
 Attended national level race competition in NATRIP race track, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Role: V i c e - C a p t a i n , 3D modeling and rendering of the vehicle, structural analysis of
the roll cage in ANSYS, part of fabrication crew.
II. Design and development of bicycle rim - January, 2015
 As a team of 3 members, developed a bicycle rim by Additive manufacturing (3D-Printing)
optimizing the design for better performance and increased life.
III. Design and fabrication of Formula-1 car - June, 2014
 As a team of 25 members, fabricated a non-commercial F-1 car within 5 months.
 Attended national level race competition in MMRT (Madras Motor Race Track),
Irungattukottai, Chennai.
Role: Part of fabrication crew, preparation of technical presentations, DFMEA & BOM.
