❖ Watch and read carefully the comic strip "MAFALDA"

Answer according to the comic:

1. What do you know about the author of Mafalda “Juan Salvador Lavado” (Quino)?
He was a graphic comedian that born in Argentina. And his most his most recognized
comic have the name of Mafalda

2. Write what the author intends when writing the message in the boxes of the comic strip:
The Autor for me is intending to say, that all the world is thinking that whatever thing is
more important that listening the reality of our world that wants to be in peace for all the
life and we decline all the intending to make the world more security and peaceful
because we doesn’t listening the voices that wants to do a good change

Look at and read the comic strip again. Associate the content of the message with its images
and respond:

1. Write how the images relate to the text.

I believe that the images and the text are relating exceptionally good the ideas that
wants to give us the Autor, because she intent to call the attention of the people and
after that nothing listen to her. she says some sad in the last part of the comic because
the Vatican, the U.N. and her chair have the same power of persuasion because, nothing
listen to all the information that says the Vatican, The U.N. and her chair.

2. To what people, places, moments, and feelings does the text refer?
I believe that the feelings that manifest the comic is that Mafalda feels bad because all
the persons think that the peace is only a thing of the U.N. and of the Vatican, for the
moments, I think that when she is intending to call the attention of the people, nothing
listen to her, and the same happen with the Vatican and with the U.N.
And the places, I think that the comic is referring to the Vatican and the U.N. because
they are too important when exist a subject with similar interest for all the world

1. What is the theme of the comic strip?

Persuade to the persons in front to the global peace

2. Who is the message for?

I think that this message is for all the world because the peace is responsibility of all us,
not for only some entities (companies, persons, etc.) on the world
