WARM – UP ACTIVITIES
• Are important as work out activities.
• It should be done before any work – out
session or physical training.
• It is a part of your body preparation for the
more difficult and intense body
movements or physical activities.
• It may include static and dynamic
stretching.
Benefits of Warm-up Activities
• Increase blood flow to the muscles
• Increase muscle elasticity;
• Gently raise heart rate;
• Increase mental alertness; and
• Increase core body temperature.
COOL-DOWN ACTIVITIES
• It will let the body to return to its natural and
normal functioning level.
Warm-up activities
• Neck Stretch
• Shoulder Rolls
• Side Arm Stretch
• Triceps Stretch
• Trunk Twist
• Hamstring Stretch
• Quadriceps Stretch
• Calf Stretch
• Knee Bends
• Ankle Rotations
• March in Place
• Jog in Place
• Jumping Jacks
• Breathing Exercise
