MY JOB

What is your job? I work as a pedagogical assistant in a Child development center.

Where do you work? Describe your place of work. I work in a Child development center CDI this is
an adapted place especially for the care of children what include spaces for Running, Playing ball,
Climbing, swinging, sliding, and balancing, Storage of play items such as tricycles, Access to nearby
toilets and Controlled access for maintenance

What responsibilities do you have at work? Describe your activities at work. Do you like your
job? Yes, No. Why? My responsibilities as a Childcare Teacher’s include feeding and grooming
children, introducing children to new, age-appropriate hobbies, and sanitizing all toys and play
areas. You should also be able to identify and address behavioral problems. I maintain progress
reports of all children under my care. I like love what I do in my job, because I love children, I love
teaching. I love my job.

b. Developing age-appropriate socialization skills in children.

c. Encouraging positive behavior and good manners.

d. Using various learning methods such as stories, games and drawing to intellectually stimulate
children.

g. Holding regular parent-teacher meetings to address any issues, concerns, or parent complaints.
h. Providing a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.

Describe your skills and weaknesses for this job. My strengths involve Patience, Organization,
Physical Stamina, Flexibility these skills are not only options these are necessary to work with
children. But I one of my weaknesses is the lack of time because I am all the time busy with things
of my job I have others things to do like spent time with my family.

What was your first day at work like? My first day was a little special because I wanted to start in
this job long time ago but I was very tired uff, was amazing and a little stressful.

Do you have or know about any superstition in your business/work/office? I don’t know about
superstition but everybody thinks that is a stressful jejeje they have the point that is true.

different activities according to the program set for us, such as develop listening, speaking, reading
and writing activities like this.

What was your first day at University like? Well like this is on line class, the first day I saw the task
I didn’t understand nothing that was terrible

Do you have or know about any superstition in your school/University? No. I never have listen
about superstition in this university but I know if you don’t study you miss the subjects

Full Job Description

We are looking for people with expertise in scholarly research in the field
of Sociology to join the SSRN Team! This part-time, remote position will be
working in the direct flow of the most current scholarly research worldwide.
SSRN is an open access research platform used to share preprints, or early stage
research, evolve ideas, measure results, and connect with scholars around the
world. Preprints are research papers that are at the submission stage or can be
described as on-going research. Academics and other researchers can freely
discover and access tomorrow’s research today on the SSRN eLibrary database.

POSITION TYPE: PART TIME & FULLY REMOTE (CONTRACTOR)

COMPENSATION: $15.00 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

Review and index subject specific papers and abstracts that will be included in
SSRN, a free to post/free to read platform of early stage research.

Primary Function: Classification

 Create and d evelop expert familiarity with the SSRN Sociology taxonomy
 Review submissions (including title, abstract, keywords, and, as necessary,
the paper) and make appropriate taxonomy assignments
 Research the existing SSRN corpus to populate content for new subject
areas, as requested
 Assist answering occasional queries from the Help Desk

Secondary Function: Research/Write Taxonomy

 Periodically assist in expanding and refining new and existing taxonomies

Qualifications:

 Graduate - l evel professional or academic experience in area related to


Sociology , PhD preferred
 Experience reading and writing for major academic journals and attendance
at professional conferences in the field are beneficial
 Computer/technology proficient
 Excellent communication skills
 Comfortable to work in a self-directed manner with minimal guidance in a
virtual team environment
 Eligible to work in U.S./U.S. Citizen
