Acid attack being used as a weapon against woman.

Gender – Mostly male

Reasons:-

 Refusal by girl to accept Marriage proposal.


 Conflict over land + Property
 Gang violence + rivalry
 Socially politically + religiously related
 Sometimes Petty
 Revenge
 Easy availability of Acid

326 – A – Permanent of partial damage or deformity disfigures or grievous hurt by throwing


acid or administering acid.

Fine:- Should be just + reasonable to meet the medical expenses of the treatment of the victim.

Fine paid to victim.
