Isometric Drawings

• Isometric drawings are a means of drawing an object in picture
form for better clarifying.
• Isometric drawings are tilted at some angle to expose other
views and give the viewer the illusion that he/she is viewing a
three-dimensional drawing, see Figs 1 and 2.

Creating Isometric Circles
Command: EL (ellipse)
Specify axis endpoint of ellipse or [Arc/Center/Isocircle]: I
Specify center of isocircle: Locate the center of the circle
Specify radius of isocircle or [Diameter]: Input value of the radius

Points will appear as an x instead of a dot.

Command: ME (measure)
Select object to measure: select the inclined line at A
Specify length of segment or [Block]: 1.0
Command: ME (measure)
Select object to measure: select the inclined line at B
Specify length of segment or [Block]: 2.06
Once the points have been placed, the LINE Command is used to draw
a line from one point to other using OSANP-NODE option.
