Still life – (from the Dutch, stilleven) is a painting featuring an arrangement of inanimate,

everyday objects, whether natural objects (flowers, food, wine, dead fish, and game, etc.) or
manufactured items (books, bottles, crockery, etc.). it is a collection of inanimate objects
arranged together in a specific way.
Animals – the depiction of animals in painting, sculpture, and graphic arts. The animal genre
combines scientific and artistic principles and develops observation and love of nature. the
animal artist pays particular attention to the artistic representational characteristics of an
animal, its habits, and its environment.
Everyday life Painting – is opposed to landscape or portrait. This category brings together
artworks that belong to both what is called “genre painting” in classicism – characterized by the
depiction of familiar or anecdotal scenes – and works that are inspired by the impressionist
outdoor scenes.
