The term subjects in art refers to the
main idea that is represented in the
artwork. The subject in art is basically
the essence of the piece. To determine
subject matter in a particular piece of
art.
HISTORY
STILL LIFE
- A collection of inanimate objects arranged
together in a specific way.
- A painting or drawing of an
arrangement of objects, typically
including fruit and flowers and
objects contrasting with these in
texture, such as bowls and
glassware.
LANDSCAPE
- A natural scenery such as mountains, cliffs, rivers, etc

countryside or land, often considered
in terms of their aesthetic appeal.
SEASCAPE
- A seascape is a photograph, painting, or other work of
art which depicts the sea, in other words an example of
marine art.
CITYSCAPE
- In the visual arts a cityscape (urban landscape) is an artistic
representation, such as a painting, drawing, print or
photograph, of the physical aspects of a city or urban area.
NATURE
- A focused view or interpretation of specific natural
elements
- The exploration of nature in art can
take endless forms, because nature
provides us with such a vast wealth of
inspiring phenomena.
