Statement of the Problem

This study entitled teacher as a guidance counselor model aims to determine the skills
of a teacher as a guidance counselor to their respective students.

Specifically, this study aspires to answer the following question:

1. What are the counselor’s Attribute of Teachers when group according to:
a. Sex
b. Years in service
c. Educational Attainment?
2. Is there a significant difference on the counseling attribute of teacher when group
according to:
a. gender;
b. years in service;
c. educational attainment?

3. Based on the findings of this study, what in-service program can be developed to
upgrade the counseling attributes of the teachers?

Hypothesis
H0: There is no significant difference on the counseling attribute of teacher when group
according to:
a. gender;
b. years in service; and,
c. educational attainment.
