 Pain-cholecystitis (pain right upper shoulder that or upper back that radiates from
abdominal area) , RUQ-Gallbladder: Cholelithiasis, cholecystitis
 Jaundice-cholangitis, cholecystitis
 Nausea, Vomiting= gallstones
 Dyspepsia
 Fever
 Itching-cholestasis

Main symptoms from physical examining and clinical interpretation;

General inspection – gender, body weight, jaundice, signs of hypercholesterolemia, fever,


etc.;
 Gender
 Body weight
 Jaundice-Cholelithiasis, cholecystitis acute
 , biliary
 Fever
 Icteric sclera-biliary obstruction
 Xanthoma on nails

Palpation of gall bladder – symptoms of Murphy and Courvoisier;

Murphy’s signs
Palpation of liver and pancreatic gland

Enlarged liver in acut and chronic cholecystitis-

Boas sign- Chronic cholecystitis
