Rita is a 53-year-old African-America female diagnosed HIV+approx. 20 years ago. Rita has an Associate
Degree in marketing from local community college and until two years ago worked in the retail industry.
She has a history of alcohol abuse and hasn’t received in-patient treatment of her HIV. Recently,, she
was diagnosed as being Bipolar and is hipersensitive. Rita was raised in the foster care system and lieved
with several families before aging out of the system at all. Eventhough, she had several families lived,
there was no one care about Rita condition. After a bitter divorced 2 years ago because sexual violence
by her husband, isolated by their neighbour. Rita found herself homeless, and lived at homeless shelter.
Now, Rita's condition is getting bad. She had frequent coughing, common flu and diarrhea. Her weight
rapid loss. Rita is uncounscious, there is no one to take her go to the hospital. A few hours, there are
many charities go to the homeless shelter. They find Rita and call the ambulance immediately.After
getting test, the result of her labs indicated CD4 count was 110.000, viral load “detectable” and she also
was depressed because herself condition.
