ORGANIZERS UNDER ATTACKED BY

TRUMP SUPORTERS, REALLY?

A new path was blazed on September 5 when 1700 people took to the streets
nationwide beginning 60 days of struggle leading up to the election. In Cleveland 60-
70 people rallied at Market Square and marched downtown demanding
“Trump/Pence Out Now!”

What stood out in Cleveland was a refreshing sense of community, of regular people
from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, young and old, Black, Latinx, and white,
different genders, all united on the need to stand up against Trump’s fascist regime.

There was drumming, live music, spoken word, and speeches conveying that those
who stepped out today are harbingers for a different future than the horrors Trump
has in store for humanity. And breaking with business as usual politics of relying on
elections while also several speakers urged people to vote for Biden as a necessary
part of defeating fascism. Speakers and artists came from many different struggles,
e.g., Black Lives Matter, Trans Lives Matter, united in the understanding that if we do
not remove the Trump/Pence regime from power, none of the worthwhile struggles
have a change of success.

People spoke from their heart

expressing the need to broadly unite
to get rid of the Trump/Pence regime,
and the white supremacy and police
terror underpinning “Make America
Great Again.” They had a sense that
there are two futures before us and

A high point of the rally was when we

recited the new Refuse Fascism pledge:

We pledge that we will not stand aside while there is still a chance to stop a regime
that imperils humanity and the earth itself.
4 more months. 4 more years. The hour is late.
The bell tolls. If we wait, we could lose the world.
This must be our time.
Not Trump’s.
Not his fascist goons’.
We will not become collaborators on a march to a racist genocide.
We will not hand the future to scorchers of the planet.
We will not rest until this fascist regime is driven from power.
In the name of humanity, we refuse to accept a fascist America.
We pledge to show the world that we rose,
many acting together to change the course of history,
staying in the streets, bringing others with us,
not backing down until our demand is won:

Dear Fuck the Feds Cleveland (FTF) member,

This letter is to inform you about a major threat in our community happening right
now. As I write this letter to you, I am speaking with a member of our community
group who is very disappointed with the Cleveland
community. Marta Maria an Verneg immigrant
from Haiti, a mother, and not less important a
COMMUNITY ORGANIZER was attacked by a
member of the “Black Voices for Trump”
movement.

Maria (as she prefers to be called) was at University Square with some members
from Refuse Fascism Ohio (RFO) (an ally organization with Fuck the Feds nationwide).
While distributing #TrumpPenceOutNow stickers Maria, Cheryl (lead organizer of
RFO), Josh Hall (young volunteer), and other 3 ROF members were attacked by a
gentleman who was refusing the use of masks in the area and also was counter
protesting their actions to stop the Trump/Pence racist and fascist regime.

The gentleman in the gentleman pull over in a red car and started the attack
against the RFO members by putting his hands on
their mask and faces. This gentleman is known for
attacking protesters and singing songs against
democrats/socialist in their rallies.

“Two Trump supporters attacked us just

because we were protesting Trump’s racist
regime. One of them try and almost choke Josh” Maria shared this photo with FTF of the
gentlemen’s car plates and “Black Voices for
Trump”

 said Maria. After seeing the situation, a security guard in
the area call the authorities (cops) which came and kept
the attack against Maria just because she is a female of
colour. “Before the cops arrived the gentleman ran
away” said Josh. Maria shared her anger and how
disappointed she was by the racial separation that
Donald Trump has influence on this country.

The anger and the hatred that a fascist is bringing to our
nation is big. President Trump needs to be removed from office and not allowed to
hold any other political positions for his actions of hatred and racial separation. Please
