The movie entitled “A Night at the Opera” shows two lovers who are both in
love with each other and challenge by destiny, with the help of their friends for them
to reunite again. This kind of circusmtance or experience is a significant to help
someone realize that no matter how hard life to achieve something, as long as you
have buddies behind you, it will be easy for you to deal with it. A previous study of
Harvard inferred that having strong companionships throughout our life settle on a
better way of life decisions that keep us solid and improves our standpoint. This
explains why someone needs a friend in life to become stronger and better one in
fighting those problems may encounter. Furthermore, romanceways.com stated that
love is the greatest feeling that controls the world. This means that when someone
gets in-love he will do everything for it, even he will be the sacrifice for all but for the
seek of his love, he will give it all.

Just like the two said lovers in the story who are Ricardo, a talented tenor but
unknown, and Rosa, a diva in an opera illustrates that love never fails. Moreover,
Rosa is also a leading lady of an arrogant European performer, Lassparri; but
Ricardo is said to be better than Lassparri and can’t able to reach his dream
because he needs to improve his reputation, said by Gottlieb; wherein the latter is
the managing director of the opera company who hires Lassparri as a leading tenor.
Even though Riccardo once fails to be part of an opera, he does not lose hope and
wants to prove to all that he is better to perform on the stage that everyone will not
forget about it. Now here come the good friends of Riccardo who are Driftwood
(business manager), Tomasso (mute assistant of Lassparri, fired by him), Fiorello
(Riccardo’s manager) wherein making their way to replace the partner of Rosa with
her loving man, Riccardo to perform the opera big day, “Il Trovatore.” So, they find
ways to pursue and follow Riccardo’s dream on which someday he will perform in
the crowd together with his love, Rosa.

Furthermore, Gottlieb sets sail to New York together with Lassparri, Driftwood,
Mrs. Claypool (helping to enter in the industry by Driftwood), as well as Rosa, But,
Tomasso, Fiorello, and Riccardo aboard on the ship secretly to follow Rosa into the
City. Driftwoods notice the three stowaways and help them to keep safe from being
get rid of by the crewmembers of the ship. When Driftwood sees Rosa is crying, he
then gives the love letter of Riccardo to ease her up. Moreover, together with
children on board, Fiorello plays the piano and Tomasso plays also the harp to make
some fun with them. Consequently, Lassparri sees them and then orders the
crewmembers to catch them and they put into the private room. Notwithstanding,
when the ship approached the City, they disguise themselves by the beards they
shaved from the three aviators. They pretend themselves along the way and
kidnapped Lassparri. After all the hardships they encountered, Riccardo and Rosa
eventually duet and perform the opera big night where people amazingly applause
throughout their performance. In the story, it actually shows how to achieve
someone’s dream by helping one another. It means that the story itself signifies, “All
for one, one for all.”

Therefore, love will always win despite difficulties in life. Just like Riccardo in
the story, he makes things impossible turns into possible with the help as well of his
friends. Even he is rejected once, he never gives up. Also, a person cannot live in his
way without the benefits of companionships. No matter what life goes through, a
person gets motivated to do and find a way to settle things with the power of love
and friendship. That’s why we must be friendly or build such relationships with
people around us because we do not know someday, they will be the ones who will
help us from stumbling in life.
