The function of mathematics is to discover or determine the exact values to answer different
problems on different situations, or to understand and explain the unknown. Determine
because, like in building structures, for example bridge, engineers should determine the exact
values on how much materials will be use, the exact distance, the height, etc. Which in
building something, there should be no room for error. Understand because, this is the
reason why we reached technological advancement. We apply these newly discovered
knowledge to develop the equipments or machines we have. Like from simple wooden planes
to planes reaching atmospheric heights.
