Having more money and less free time is better or having less
money and more free time
We live in an age when people are divided in their opinion regarding whether being rich and having no leisure is better or being poor and having more free time. My own view on this matter is both cases has their own positive and negative aspects. The following essay takes a look at both sides of the argument and reach a concrete decision. On the one hand there are lots of people who earn thousands of dollars by working all day and night and they all to live best life. They prioritize providing the best life for their family, education for their children and they think that it is the right approach to life. These people claim that money can’t solve every problem in the world but it can solve majority of every day issues in our life. There is widespread belief that money cannot buy happiness and I agree with this statement only for 50 percent because of course money can’t return the people you lost or you can’t buy health with it which are one of the main aspects of happiness however it is worth considering that there a bunch of things that you can simply buy and they make you happy. For instance travelling, it always makes people happier because when you travel you relax and avoid stress of every day life and it raises your happiness level. On the other hand , people who spend too much time at work in order to provide a better life for their family usually forget about their own health because having such a busy schedule of course will damage their health. Indeed, spending more time with their family can make them a lot happier and reduce stress level in their life which has a great impact on health. In conclusion, weighing up both sides of the argument we can undoubtedly claim that in order to provide a better life people have to work hard however they shouldn’t forget about themselves.
