FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (CENTER BASED EXAMS)

1. What is Center Based Examination (Online mode)?

A. It is a Computer Based Exam which will be conducted using the Local Area
Network (LAN) to make it safe, secure and un-interrupted.

2. How to apply and what is the last date of applying for center-based exam?

A. Candidate can apply through www.amityonline.com . The last date is 31st


May 2019 as per the declared schedule.

3. Is Internet connection required for Centre Based Exam?

A. Yes

4. What are the dates for Center Based Examination?

A. The dates of examination are,7th,10th,11th,12th,13th,14th,17th,


18th,19th,20th,21st, 24th & 25th June 2019

5. What will be the time of center-based examination?

A. There are two slots:


1st Slot-11:00-13:00 IST
2nd Slot-15:00-17:00 IST

6. When will a candidate report at exam centre?

A. 15 mins before the exam time.

7. What computer knowledge is required to appear for Center Based Examination?

A. The candidate needs to know only how to use computer mouse.


That is at the most required.

8. Can the date of exam once selected be changed, if required?

A. No
9. What will be the medium of Center Based Examination?

A. English

10. Can a candidate get an examination center of his/her choice?

A. The Candidate can opt for the centre as per list during Admit Card
Generation.

11. How secure is the center-based examination?

A. It is very secure with zero error possibility as human intervention is


minimal.

12. How a candidate can practice for Center Based Examination?

A. The Mock Test is available on the admit card panel. The Candidate can
use the same and practice as many times as he/she wants.

13. What will happen in case there is some problem in computer during the
examination?

A. There will be enough buffer computers available at the examination


centers to take care of such problems and the time lost in change of
system will be duly compensated as each second will be recorded by the
server.

14. In case of problem in computer etc will there be somebody to assist?

A. Yes, there will be qualified IT professionals.

15. What is the structure of the Question Paper?

A. There will be three Sections “A”,” B” and “C”.


Section “A” has four questions. Each question carries 7.5 marks each.
You have to attempt any two.
Section “B” has a case study with two subjective questions of 7.5 Marks each.
You have to attempt all.
Section “c” has 20 MCQ’s of 2marks each.
16. How will a candidate answer a question in the Center Based examination?

A. For Section A and B the candidate has to type in the answer in the space
given. For MCQ’S the candidate has to click one of the options using computer
B. mouse. All the three sections can be reviewed or reanswered any time
during the duration of the examination.
17. How will a candidate come to know which questions are left unanswered?

A. There will be a panel on computer screen showing all the question nos in different color
scheme which will indicate which are the questions answered and left unanswered.

18. Can a candidate change his/her answer?

A. Yes

19. If a candidate has selected medium of question paper as English but want to see question in
Hindi for more clarity or vice-a-versa, is this possible?

A. No

20. Will a candidate get sheets/papers for rough work/calculations

etc? A. No

21. Is there any call centre support?

A. Yes. There is a support centre for candidates appearing in centre based examination.
