a. Informally assess through random questioning about solfege
b. Recording at the end of class to assess the accuracy of the notes and rhythms

a. Greeting - coming in listening to music
b. Assign Seats
c. Warm Ups

i. Chanting rhythm on solfege
ii. One section at a time switches to pitches
iii. Combine sections gradually as they become more comfortable
iv. Isolate sections that we have trouble with
v. Use solfege patterns to reference back to warm ups
f. Split sections up for more individual work
i. Opportunity for students to ask questions and review certain items

a. Using past rehearsals to inform how we learn new music
6. Differentiation
a. Hand signs, kinesthetic warms ups
b. Ear training exercises, listening to one another
c. Sight-reading and visualization of music on the page
7. Homework - complete any required paperwork
