With a population of more than 175,000,000 residents, the Cincinnati-

Tristate conglomerate covers a total area of 3,866 square miles. Cincinnati,

also known as Queen City, is located on the Ohio river and is surrounded by
the States of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana on three sides, it  is the second
largest city in the state of Ohio after Cleveland, the seat and official seat of
the state government. Over the past decade, Cincinnati, the heart of an
urban conglomerate, has grown dynamically, ranking tenth in the country in
terms of growth rate. Located on steep hills that rise above the Ohio river,
the city stretches for miles along the river. At first, Cincinnati owed its
development to the river port, which was and remains an important center
of freight traffic on the Ohio river. For a while, the city developed as a place
specializing in them. Later, Cincinnati began to develop other industries,
becoming one of the leading centers of the chemical, electrical, and
footwear industries. Cincinnati is the home of the main offices of world-
famous companies such as Procter & gamble, one of the world's largest
manufacturers of detergents, Krioger, supermarket chains, United Brands
and others. Cincinnati is known for its relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that
attracts people from all over the country. Greater Cincinnati is divided into
districts, towns, and territories that have their own self-government. The
Ohio river is a line dividing the States of Ohio and Kentucky. The area that
was once German-speaking, and whose population was replenished mainly
by German immigrants, is now more or less typically American, although in
places it has retained a German flavor, at least in names, for example, the
Mainstrasse District, located in Northern Kentucky and adjacent to the
Greater Cincinnati international airport. The center of the city is considered
to be fountain square, in the center of which is a popular tourist fountain, a
sculptural group of which was donated to Cincinnati by residents of the
German city of Munich. Within the center, Northwest of fountain square, is
the huge Lazarus Mall and other retail establishments, many of which are
clustered along Fifth street. Further North of the city center are the
Cincinnati zoo and Botanical gardens, which are considered some of the
best in the world. The mount Eden area is located to the East of the center,
on one of the hills, on top of which there is a Church, which is about 30
meters high. Historical attractions include the home of the 27th President of
the United States, William Taft, where the Taft art Museum is located; a
historical Museum where you can see the reconstructed wooden wall of the
first settlers to protect against Indian attacks, and learn about the people
and events that gave names to streets and squares, and after which the city
of Cincinnati itself was named, and much more. Other attractions for
tourists include the coastline, which offers scenic views of the river and the
opposite Bank, along which there are ancient steamers, many of which have
been converted into floating restaurants; the concert hall is a Music hall that
hosts many cultural events, including the may Festival, where the world's
leading performers perform; kings island, the city's main outdoor recreation
area, an area that has become the most popular entertainment Park in the
United States. Guests can relax without leaving the city - Cincinnati has a
diverse nightlife. The city's climate is moderated by the Ohio river and is
characterized by hot summers and relatively warm winters. The most
pleasant month is may.
