ARTICLE 1 Sustainability Research in Business to Business market: An Agenda for Inquiry

The research of Sharma entitled “Sustainability Research in Business to Business


market: An Agenda for Inquiry”, focuses on Sustainability Development Goal. Which I
noticed that this research aiming to conserve the environment and have an environmental
concern. The researcher says due to a limited research in the area, which it pertains in the
sustainability of the business to business markets, in the other way the researcher come up
with a three interrelated research which supports the study. Mostly of the businesses are
focus on business to consumer market but they had a limited attention to business to
business markets. Furthermore, this study says that the customers need for sustainable
product which it affects the nature of demand. The study shows that business should
prioritize the society and even the environment. We all know that, all the sources of making
the product are came from the environment, but this source are not unlimited. So, this study
promotes green marketing and corporate social responsibility.

So here is my insights and also the knowledge that I gain form this study, as a
business it should not focus more on gaining profit and sell your products or services. It
should be helping the society and even the environment. It is nonsense if the business
helping the customers fulfill their satisfaction, but the society and the environment fulfill their
satisfaction. It is good to have a research in terms of business to business markets, why? It
is because you are taking advantage of what the other business did not do. It is a big yes for
the business to standout because the business itself are promoting excellent work that the
customers will love.
