Answers
(1) B
In three views it can be seen that F, C, D and E are adjacent to A. So remaining face is B and will
be opposite to A.
(2) D
It is known that E and F are opposite faces. First rotate one of the view such that E becomes
opposite to F in other view, then we rotate it such that position of E remains fixed, it can be seen
that A will be opposite to C and B will be opposite to D.
(3) C
As per the first view A and D cannot be opposite to E, and as per the second view F and B cannot
be opposite to E. Therefore only C is left and has to be opposite to E.
(4) a. 51
(5) b. 435
(6) b. RQ
Step 1
The members of the given series have two alphabets each. The numeral positions of first alphabet
is forming a different series and the second alphabet is forming a different series, as given below:
B, F, J, N, _ = 2, 6, 10, 14, ___
Y, W, U, S, _ = 25, 23, 21, 19, ___
Step 2
Now the question has been broken into two sub-series. We may notice that the numeral position of
the first series is increasing by a count of 4, and that of the members of the second series is
decreasing by a count of 2.
Step 3
We can see that the next alphabet of the first series has the numeral position of 18, which is R, and
the second series has the numeral position of 17, which is Q.
Step 4
This means option b is the correct answer.

(7) d. 96
Pattern - increment the number by n*n -1 where n is the location of term in the series : 61 + 6*6 - 1
= 96
(8) d. 159
(9) d. siner
Step 1
If we look at the given words, there are three words that exist and have a meaning - reins, resin,
and rinse.
Step 2
There is only one word that doesn’t have any legitimate meaning and that is - siner.
Step 3
We can conclude that the odd one among the given words is siner.
(10) d. 141
(11) d. 78
(12) c. dfji
Step 1
We are given four set of different letters. If we calculate the position of the alphabets in every set
of numbers:
knqt: 11, 14, 17, 20. The numeral position is increasing by 3 in every consecutive term.
ilor: 9, 12, 15, 18. The numeral position is increasing by 3 in every consecutive term.
dfji: 4, 6, 10, 9. There is no fixed pattern in the numbers.
gjmp: 7, 10, 13, 16. The numeral position is increasing by 3 in every consecutive term.
Step 2
We can see that the position of alphabets in all given sets is increasing by 3, except for option c,
which is the correct option.
