ABSTRACT ( DO NOT ANSWER THIS PORTION UNLESS YOU ARE DONE WITH
ALL THE SECTIONS OF YOUR RESEARCH)
(In writing this section, you have to make sure first that you have already finished

writing all the sections. It may be in the beginning of the research paper, but it will be

the very last part to be written. In writing an abstract, you have to summarize your

ENTIRE STUDY. Remember that this section is only short (200 words or fewer) and

has FOUR COMPONENTS. Review how to write this for you to do it properly. This

section shall be written effectively since this is the very first section that will be read by

the readers. If this section is not interesting and is not catchy, most probably the

readers will no longer continue reading the proceeding sections. Happy Writing!)

INTRODUCTION
(Provide an overview of your Background of the Study, Statement of the Problem,

Scope and Delimitation, Significance of the Study)

Background of the Study

1. Define, describe and discuss the important keywords of your study. This

should at least be from 2-3 paragraphs (pages 1 or 2 of your study)

2. Discuss the present situation about your topic, add some important

review of your related literature and studies, add what your study will fill

in the gaps between the present situation and the reviewed studies. This

should at least be contained in pages 3 to 7 of your study.

Statement of the Problem

(Clearly state the main problem, written either as a declarative statement or as

a question, broken down into specific sub-problems (research questions) ( I have

already checked this, you should have no more problem here).

Scope and Delimitation

(Present the coverage of the research in terms of location, time, respondents,

etc., and the potential weaknesses ( what is not covered in the study) or problems

with the study identified by the researcher)

Significance of the Study

(State the sectors or individuals who will benefit from your study of the

problem and explain how exactly will the results be significant to them)
Write your surnames here, |3

Conceptual Framework

(Connect variables of the study using a diagram to show how your study will

be conducted and after which discuss how the study will be conducted based from

your diagram.)

Definition of Terms

(Define variables and sub-variables or or the KEYWORDS in your conceptual

framework. The terms should be arranged alphabetically and should be defined

operationally using complete sentences. Please indicate the source or where you got

the meaning of the word being defined.

Words may be defined operationally in terms of how they are used in the study

or literally ( how they are defined in the dictionary, Wikipedia or any other source) .

UP TO THIS POINT ONLY

METHODS

(Provide an overview of your Research Design, Research Participants,

Research Instruments, Data Collection Procedure and Analysis)

Research Design

(Outline in detail how a study or investigation should take place)

Research Participants

(Determine who will be your respondents and explain how they will be selected)

Research Instruments
Write your surnames here, |4

(Answer the questions: 1. What instruments will you use to gather data to answer

your research questions? Describe the instruments. 2. Why did you choose these

instruments? 3. What are the major parts of your instruments including the major

variables and sub-variables to be measured? and 4. What rating scale will you use?)

Data Collection Procedure

(Describe whose permission will be sought and what arrangements need to be

made to administer instruments. After all permissions have been granted, discuss how

the samples (respondents) will be contacted and explain the process of administering

the questionnaires. Then, state how the questionnaires will be retrieved)

Data Analysis Procedure

(Indicate how the data will be analyzed and reported; it should specify the

qualitative and/or quantitative methods that will be used in analyzing the data gathered

for the research. This section will serve as a guide for future researchers, so that they

may also use the procedure you would be doing)

Ethical Considerations

(Write your ethical considerations here. Review how it shall be written.

Remember that you have to (1) enumerate and explain each ethic in research that your

group will be utilizing in the entire conduct of your study.)

DISCUSSION OF FINDINGS

(In writing this section, you have to relate the findings of your study to pertinent

literature. Make sure that the literature you will be using are of 10 years recent.
Write your surnames here, |5

Furthermore, make sure that the information you will be gathering will be properly cited

through APA style and will really be connected to what you found out. THIS IS WHERE

YOU ARE GOING TO PLACE YOUR DATA PRESENTATION AND ANALYSIS. In

reporting the results, you, as the researcher, need to stay close to the statistical

findings without drawing broader implications or meaning from them. Further, this

section includes summaries of the data rather than the raw data (e.g., the actual scores

for individuals). A results section include tables, figures, and detailed explanations

about the statistical results)

CONCLUSION
(This is the portion that gives meaning to your research and your results. You

have to draw conclusions or derive generalizations, and summaries of your results.

Conclusions should be derived based from the findings of the study. If you already

have the findings, your conclusion should answer ( So what if you have these

findings? What is the implication of your results?)

RECOMMENDATIONS

(In writing this section, you have to pause and reflect – “What things were you

not able to do in the entire procedure of conducting research?” Therefore, if your

process is not perfect, suggest things for the improvement of its future conduct. You

may also write recommendations for beneficiaries of results of study cited in

Significance of Study)
