5th Grade Talent Show Script

Daniela: Welcome to the Northern Trails 5th grade

talent show. Thank you to Mrs. Konkle’s
Kids – Nabil Mustapha, Maddy Klienheksal,
Ellie Pena, Christian Gordon, Aden Vogt,
Caiden Dunklee, Kellie Vos, Grace Kolenda
and Katarina Lundgren. Looks like they had
fun dancing to “What Makes You Beautiful“.
That was a great start to our show!

My name is Daniela Bilboa and along with

Huzaifah Nadeem, we will be your MC’s for
this show.
Huzaifah: This morning you will see fellow classmates
demonstrate many special talents from
dancing to gymnastics and musical
performances with many other surprises
too. Before we begin, we ask that you
silence your electronic devices and get
ready to enjoy some amazing talent here at
Northern Trails!

Let’s get started with our next act. We have

a special surprise for you, please welcome
Mr. Post and friends to our stage.

Daniela: Thanks to Mr. Post, Mrs. Bonino, Mr.

Johnson, Mrs. Jenison, Mrs. Gongora, and
Mrs. Clark.

Next up is our first singer of the show.

Please welcome Olivia Han singing ‘Wings”.
Huzaifah: Great job Olivia.
Our next act features Ian Maguire playing
his guitar and singing “The King Beneath
The Mountain”.

Daniela: Thank you Ian.

Now we have Kennedy Targosz dancing to
“Crystalize.”

Huzaifah: Kennedy, that was great.

Jonid Mandiga is our next performer. Jonid
will play “Great Smokey Mountain” on the
piano.

Daniela: Good job Jonid.

Next please welcome Kyra Wittig and Lara
Seledotis presenting their gymnastics dance
to the music of “Black Widow”.
Huzaifah: Thank you Kyra and Lara.
Now we have Molly Baker and Lauren
Burns. They will be dancing to “After The
Dark”.

Daniela: Thanks to Molly and Lauren.

Coming to the stage now is a delightful trio.
Please welcome Ava Bell, Tanishka Shenoy
and Alexandra Berg singing “Little Me”.

Huzaifah: Great Job!

Are you ready for some laughs? Here with
her own style of comedy is Faith Walker!

Daniela: Thanks Faith.

Presenting an energetic duo, Nicholas
VanHekken and Ethan Nethercot with an
exciting breakdance.
Huzaifah: That was teriffic!
Here with another wonderful piano
performance is Lindsey Nguyen playing
“Light and Blue”.

Daniela: Nice job Lindsey.

Now performing a special gymnastics
routine to “Requiem for a Dream” is Alyssa
Wierenga.

Huzaifah: Thank you Alyssa!

Our next performer is Claire Van Zelst.
Claire will be singing “Gold”.

Daniela: Thanks Claire.

The next act is one of a kind. You will be
amazed as Lauren Pursley performs with
Hula Hoops to Taylor Swift and “Shake It
Up”.

Huzaifah: Lauren, thanks for sharing that with us.

Karate – sharp, exciting, and full of energy.
 Please welcome George Wilmer with is
Karate Demonstration.

Daniela: George, that was terrific.

Please enjoy our next song, “Tip Toes” sung
by Lucy Post and Reese Mackraz.

Huzaifah: Nice Job.

Here to perform on the piano is Erika
Aurner. Enka is performing
“________________________________”.

Daniela: Thank you Erika.

Our next duo will perform a gymnastics
routine. Please welcome Kendall Hill and
Dot Pedtke.

Huzaifah: Thanks to Kendall and Dot.

 Up next, we have Lydia Jamula performing a
special dance to the music of “One Last
Time”.

Daniela: Good job, Lydia.

Now we have Agathe Casal and Emma
Curtis dancing to “Low”.

Huzaifah: Thank you Agathe and Emma.

Our last performance this morning is Alex
Barnes playing “Aria” on the piano.

Daniela: Now before we close the 5th grade portion

of our talent show this morning, we have
one more special act. Please welcome to
the stage Mr. Rapaport and Company!

Michelle: Thanks, that was a great finish!

Well that’s our show. Thank you for coming.
I would like to thank all of our performers,
our stage help, Helen Lee, Samantha
Durocher, Claire Galloway, Brooke Miller,
our terrific MC’s, our awesome parent
volunteers and our incredible school staff
for making this show possible. We hope you
enjoyed it. Stay tuned for more fun this
afternoon when the 6th grade students take
the stage.
