Planning

After 30 minutes of nursing intervention and health teaching the patient will be able to

describe activities that will enhance her independence in the performance of her activities

of daily living with safety and infection precaution.

Medications:
 Emphasized to patient the importance of taking medicine prescribed

Exercise:
 Advice patient to gradually resume activities as tolerated

Treatment:
 Teach method to alleviate and relief pain such as giving warm compress and
topical liniments

Hygiene:
 Encourage to return clean and safety environment

 Instruct to hand wash before and after eating

Out Patient:
 Instruct mother to follow schedule of checkup and notify health care provider if
any problems occur Diet:
• Instruct the mother to breastfeed the baby when she is hungry

Diet:

 Encourage diet as tolerated

 Avoid food that is not nutritious

Sexuality:

• Encourage the patient to have faith in God and believe in His healing power
• Attend mass regularly
