Activity: Basic Working Drawing Standards for Wood and Masonry Structure.

OBJECTIVE

Let us determine how much you learn. This activity will help you understand the different
components of a building that is needed to be conveyed as part of the construction drawings.

Material needed:

Building design from the internet drawing pencils (Mongol 2)

A4 bond paper Unipen or tech pens or equivalent

masking tape

Task. Do the following activity:


1. Use the 2-story building design from your group activity 2.
2. Answer the following questions below; (You may use this as your answer sheet)

1. Using the Perspective of the building, identify the building’s major building systems and its
parts.

Ans: We need to identify the parts of a structure in order to analyze and carefully plan the
outcome and structural integrity of the structure. Also, to provide detailed drawings that will
instruct or convey information.
