Example: This is the road stretch I used in Homework #1.

I will label the westernmost

point as terminus point 1 and the easternmost point as terminus point 2.

Select one of the terminus points and double-click until a floating window containing
geographic metadata and coordinates appears.
Select the coordinates from the floating window to open left-tab panel containing a more
intensive detail of the point selected.

Westernmost terminus point is 14°48'22.9"N, 121°01'12.8"E in DMS coordinate format.

For decimal format, its easting is 14.806348 and its northing  is 121.020217. Use the
same steps to locate geographical coordinates of points A, B, C, ..., which is located on
the open traverse spanning terminal points 1 and 2. A summary of the procedure is
presented below (red points being the terminal points and the points between the
terminal points are shown in green.)
Summary of the results is shown below:

Point Easting Northing

A 14°48'22.9"N 121°01'12.8"E
1 14°48'23.5"N 121°01'12.8"E
2 14°48'26.8"N 121°01'19.9"E
3 14°48'27.2"N 121°01'21.7"E
4 14°48'28.5"N 121°01'23.6"E
5 14°48'29.1"N 121°01'25.8"E
6 14°48'29.6"N 121°01'27.2"E
B 14°48'30.6"N 121°01'27.7"E

Tabulated distances of traverse. Next step is to calculate bearing and distances

between points to form characteristics of the segments connecting terminal points A and
B.

Final output for this homework is to show delineated curves connecting A and B, and
designed using simple curves.
