The Virtual World, the net that holds modern society together

In this day and age the majority of the human population has had an
access to the open internet at least once in their life and billions of
those people use it for hours every single day. The Virtual World acts
like a second life for a lot of us, that world can be split in countless
industries and communities. Those industries in the virtual world can
be something that holds multiple and ever-growing communities. For
example, the gaming industry, the social media industry, those hold big
name companies such as YouTube, Facebook, Apple and Riot Games.
In those industries you find an infinite amount of various communities.
Every game has its own community and every YouTube and social
media influencer forms a different community around themselves.
Currently in this day and age the Virtual World is where the majority of
the big stuff happens, signing contracts, trading, hundreds of billions of
dollars being exchanged and moved around. Online banking is getting
more and more wide-spread.
That’s at least what the casual internet user sees. The internet is one
huge iceberg, on the surface of that iceberg you find the casual
everyday sites such as Wikipedia, Google and everything that you can
see and that everyone can access.
Below the murky waters is where the Deep web is located, private and
user-only sites, medical and banking record and other places that
companies don’t want to be accessed by the public.
And at the bottom of the iceberg, in the dark waters you find the scary
place called the Dark web. Hackers, assassins, drug dealers and darker
stuff are located here. It’s heavily monitored and watched by
governments all around the world.
If you go there unprotected you can end up in a body bag in some van.
That’s the place where you can buy anything from marijuana to black
market organs.
And we have come to the end of the speech. The Virtual World is
basically infinite and ever evolving cyber space. It will never end or
disappear. Everything done there has been recorded and locked up
somewhere with other billions-trillions of bites of information. From
how to cook a human body part to your granny’s recipe for pumpkin
pie, everything’s there. And always will be…
